We headed on over to the Hotel Jen Tanglin to check out their party staycation package to see what it was all about. Yes, we gathered a bunch of people and partied all night long for an assignment. It was hard work, but someones got to do it.
The Hotel Jen, which is conveniently located near Orchard Road, is centrally located and easily accessible for friends who live near and far. Hotel Jen has a modern, trendy vibe that helps set the scene for a fun evening and is still undergoing renovation for its updated look.
Upon entering your party room for the night you will find all the party supplies you need to have a good time.

A fresh watermelon bowl filled with a vodka punch will be waiting for you in your room to get the party started. The punch is not only tasty, but makes for a pretty and festive center piece to the room.
Hungry? Never drink on an empty stomach, you know. You will also find a tray of pretty little gourmet canapés, both salty and sweet, to pick at throughout the night. If that doesn’t satisfy you, as part of the package up to 4 guests can snack and drink in the Club Lounge. For late night cravings there is always room service – some items are even available 24 hours (for charge).
In the cool, vintage SMEG fridge you will find a round of mixers to spice up your own liquid concoctions. The fridge has plenty of space to fill up with additional items you and your mates bring along. The Jen also provides a bucket of ice for your cocktails.

What happens at the Jen Staycation, stays at the Jen Staycation? Apparently not. Part of the package includes free usage of a GoPro camera with a complimentary 16GB SD card to record the evening… if you dare.

There is a small beer pong set-up at the table, which I was very excited about, however we came to find table is very small and not overly conducive to actually beer pong. We ended up improvising and creating on own take on the classic drinking game. When life gives you lemons.
Want to take the party down to the pool? Our room came with the cutest, very Instagram-worthy inflatable pretzel pool toy.
Some additional amenities include free Wi-Fi throughout the room and entirely of the hotel, free local calls and a free shuttle bus to shopping districts, if you desire.
