Pei Pa Koa (Cough Syrup) Bubble Tea Is A Legit Drink & You Can Get It At All Woobbee Outlets In SG Now

The bubble tea frenzy has slowly crept up on us this past year and it’s pretty evident with China’s Heytea and Taiwan’s Tiger Sugar popping up in CBD with their creative beverages.

Well, here’s another funky drink to add to the list of bubble teas. A local bubble tea shop Woobbee, offers Herbal Mint Milk Tea (S$4.10) made with the famous cough medicine, Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa.

With a choice of one free topping between black pearls, grass jelly, pudding or nata de coco, we’re more concerned about how the herbal milk tea fares. Medicine as a sweetener for bubble tea? This could be either a yum or yikes.

The local brand has been around for years and has three outlets across Singapore: Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Shaw House and Chinatown Point.

While I’m rather torn between giving this drink a try, I’m sure it’ll do no harm – especially if you’re an avid bubble tea lover or if you need an excuse to drink bbt even when you’re feeling under the weather.

If you find yourself near any of the outlets in Singapore, don’t forget to stop by Woobbee to find out how this minty beverage tastes like!
