McDonald’s is just one of those brands that are long overdue for an apparel collab, and of course, Adidas, will be the one to deliver. In a partnership with New York sportswear designer Eric Emanuel, Addias and McDonald’s have come together for the All American Games, McDonald’s premier high school basketball showcase. It features the 48 most prolific young basketball players in the country, some of who eventually go on to become NBA and WNBA personalities.

The collection is split into two lines—the first of which is the player gear, while the second is Games-inspired apparel. From the player gear line you’ll find the classic sweats, shorts, and hoodies; essentially what is seen on the court.

The Games-inspired line comes in two colourways; Bold Blue and Red. Some fun apparel to expect includes the Eric Emanuel McDonald’s Reverse Retro Shorts (US$85, approx. S$113), Eric Emanuel McDonald’s Hoodie (US$90, approx. S$119.65), as well as the McDonald’s All American Game Hoodie (US$80, approx. S$106.36).

One of the highlights from the collection is the Forum 84 High Shoes (US$140, approx. S$186.13), which is a spin on a classic featuring the McDonald’s All-American Games logo on the left, coupled with Eric Emanuel’s signature logo on the right. The off white upper contrasted against McDonald’s signature mustard on the sole deserves a chef’s kiss on its own.

To keep things more casual, there’s also the McDonald’s-fied Adilette Slides (US$65, approx S$86.42), which is just a delightful splash of colour; bright hues of yellow against an electric blue sole.

The collection is available for sale come Friday, 23 April 2021 at 7am GMT, and you can set your reminder so you won’t miss out on this fabulous collab we never even realised we were waiting for. The apparel will be available on the Adidas US online store, and also stocked in Tokyo and Fukuoka stores. But look at the bleak outlook of travel, looks like shipping is our only option, for now.
