There’s something universally comforting about the power of a hearty plate of roast chicken to satisfy our tummies. Paired with a plate of rice or roast veggies, this is a great dish for any meal, any time of the day.
We’ve rounded up 5 places to get the best roast chicken fix in Singapore — from deliveries to dine-ins, you won’t be running out of choices anytime soon! In order of ranking, here’s our picks:
1. Kemono
Kemono prides itself on delivering healthy, non-GMO, Japanese roast chicken right to your doorstep. The fresh chickens that they use are slow-roasted using a traditional Japanese technique, that creates the juiciest and healthiest roast chicken that we’ve ever tasted.
The Healthy Roasted Chicken ($29.60) had the juiciest breast meat that rivalled most places. We loved that there is a variety of sauces to go accentuate the flavour of the chicken, including Japanese Curry Sauce, Teriyaki Pineapple Sauce, and Lemongrass Sauce.
Don’t forget to check out their affordable bento sets that come with a succulent piece of chicken thigh, with your choice of Rosti ($15.90), Japanese Rice ($11.90) or Mashed Potato ($12.90). I know where I’ll be getting my lunch from next!
