What pairs well with a juicy burger or your favourite premium crustacean? That’s right, a good ol’ bottle of craft beer. We all know that when it comes to craft beer brewing ingredients, the sky’s the limit—which is exactly what London phenomenon Burger & Lobster have done with their launch of the Lobster Saison (S$17) on our shores in celebration of their 10th birthday.
To go back to where it all started—with only using premium quality and fresh ingredients—the limited-edition brew is made of, none other than, lobster shells. Imagine a cold pint bursting with the essence of lobster—that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be. Made with barley malt, wheat, hops, yeast, lemon zest, tarragon, and black pepper, this oceanic brew gets ten points for its ingenuity from me.
In collaboration with Singapore brewers, Off Day Beer Company, the aromatic beer is light and well-balanced, making it easy to have it on its own or paired with the food that can be found at Burger & Lobster. The beer also features a crisp, spiced, and floral note, making it easily palatable.
