There is no shortage of coffee joints in Singapore, and yet, when the weekend rolls around, it seems impossible to find a cosy spot to enjoy that cuppa. Well, here is Butler Koffee, a snug little spot in Tanjong Pagar sure to give you some respite from the crowds.

If the name Butler Koffee sounds familiar, it’s because it is. Since we’ve just had our CB anniversary, I thought it would be nice to remind everyone how incredibly coffee-obsessed we were. You’ll remember all the different types of coffee delivery, and one of them I’ve had to pleasure of trying is from Butler Koffee. Well, if you’ve been a fan since then, you’ll want to check out their brick-and-and-mortar store.

It’s a charming space that boasts nothing too fancy or pretentious. With a clean and minimalistic design, Butler Koffee wants you to enjoy the coffee and nothing else. Since Butler Koffee is also on the third floor of one of the buildings along Kreta Ayer, be sure to snag a seat with your bestie at the balcony, and people watch to your heart’s desire.

Butler Koffee has a lean menu made with their speciality blend, a space for purists that can do without the bells and whistles. You can expect the classic array of coffee drinks, such as the Espresso (S$4, Single; S$4.50, Double), Black (S$5), and White (S$5). All the hard-core coffee stans will also be pleased to know that Butler Koffee uses a two-bean blend with beans from Colombia and Brazil. If not, Butler Koffee also offers their signature Mocha (S$6), or go all out with a smooth and creamy Chocolate (S$5.50).

Also, if you’ve been longing for some of their winning Cold Brew, you’re in luck. They offer ever-popular White and Black at S$8 and S$7.50 for a bundle for five. Also, I can’t help but love that its sort of a coffee hideout.
