As a true Singaporean broke kid, I grew up eating instant noodles at least once a week. It holds a special place in my heart (and gut), even more so now during the ‘Circuit Breaker’ period. That being said, sometimes that little flavouring packet just isn’t enough.

As such, I’ve devised a way to upgrade my noodles in a cheap and easy way. It might involve one or two other ingredients in your kitchen cupboard, but with minimum effort, you can turn the world’s saddest dinner into a masterpiece.

Indomie Hot Dog

We have witnessed these noodles magically turn into a burger and an omelette, so this time around I’ll be transforming them into a snack. With just four ingredients including our favourite hot dog and Indomie instant noodles, let’s get started on our Indomie Hotdog Snack that you can make under 10 minutes!

Indomie Hot Dog 3

A perfect snack to jazz things up, the exterior possessed a crispy and familiar comforting flavour. They are the perfect munchies and will become your absolute go-to for any situation. In my opinion, hot dogs will never go out of style, especially one draped with a crispy, savoury and sweet exterior.

This humble Indomie Hotdog Snack is wondrous upscale street food; after all, the noodles itself are basically a physical manifestation of instant deliciousness. An easy-to-make snack with a crunchy case, the dish was delightful and hit all the right notes of nostalgia for me.

Expected Damage: S$0.50 – S$2 per portion (for two pax)
