To boost your creativity in the kitchen and provide an opportunity for you to be own chef, we have been creating simple stay-home recipes for you. This time around, we’ve come out with a slight twist.
Ensconcing himself in the throne as the undisputed king of fast food, how can we talk about fast food and forget about McDonald’s? And since we’re on the topic of McDonald’s Singapore, how can we forget McSpicy and our beloved curry sauce?
Also, let’s not forget KFC’s Chipotle Meltz, a hit that has garnered a humble following since its inception. Now, I’ve decided to create my own challenge. I wanted to bring the best of both fast-food worlds and present something absolutely no one can resist— the McDonald’s McSpicy Meltz (with Curry Sauce).

The final product was everything I imagined it to be; it resembled KFC’s Chipotle Meltz on all fronts and it was right up my alley. A mouth-watering sensation, the toasted tortilla chips and McSpicy patties gave it an additional bite texture.
The bold spice from the chicken pieces was still the star of the show as it remained succulent and crispy, with a robust kick of spice. The tomatoes also added a mellow hint of sweetness to counter the spicy chicken chunks, quelling the flames in my mouth. The most important ingredient, however, was the cheddar cheese.
The tortilla wrap failed to encompass each ingredient and lacked structural integrity. It is here where the cheese shone through, acting as a glue for the other ingredients, hindering the other elements from falling out and the dish falling apart as a whole. Lastly, the delectable Curry Sauce added a sweet fruity tang, really tickling my tastebuds and taking this wrap up a notch.
If you have some time to spare and want to refashion your McSpicy burger, try your hand at the McDonald’s McSpicy Meltz. You won’t be left disappointed!
