Know someone who loves chicken wings and inhales them efficiently in an inhumanly short time? Well, if that someone also enjoys setting their mouths on fire, Finders Keepers and Meats N Malts have something in store!

The two restaurants have banned together to unleash The Suicide Wings Challenge unto Singapore. Take on the challenge by finishing an entire basket of eight Suicide Wings ($12) in under two and a half minutes and have it on the house and 10% off your whole bill.

But the challenge doesn’t end there. From now until 20 August 2017, make it to the top of their leaderboard with the fastest timing and stay there to win a $100 food voucher!

Sounds easy enough doesn’t it? But what is it that could possibly heat things up even more here on this sunny island where most of us jia la (add spice) to everything?

Allow me to introduce Naga Jolokia – a member of the infamously deadly Ghost Chilli family. Combining both the infamous ghost chilli together with chilli padi, the result is an explosion of fiery sparks that, believe me, are gonna be burning your lips for awhile.

I figured that I can’t convince the rest of Singapore to take on this challenge if I didn’t try it myself so… one quick suggestion before you decide to “add some spice to your life” – Get a little bit of food in your system before setting those intestines on fire.

On my first try, I managed to finish two out of eight pieces in two minutes and fifteen seconds. Two days later, I doubled my speed and had four pieces.

My verdict? They most certainly pack a punch, but without compromising or losing any taste or juiciness.

Besides coming up with this insanely spicy challenge, Finders Keepers and Meats N Malts also pride themselves in offering quality food at affordable prices. What’s to die for are the Bourbon & Maple BBQ Pork Ribs, which are marinated overnight.

Come down with a group of friends so you can all dig into the variety of sharing platters ($22.80 – $28.80) before you take on the Suicide Wings.

And if you’re just there to complete the challenge, just think about this: the only thing you’ll have to pay for is all the beer you’ll need to cool off after you’re done.

Give the challenge a shot and tell us in the comments if this is one spice you’d like to add to your life!
