Sando lovers, get ready to clear your schedules and brace yourselves for the inevitable queues, because Tokyo’s massive internet sensation, Age.3, is officially opening its debut Singapore outlet at ION Orchard in mid-Nov 2026, bringing 34 sando flavours with it.

Age.3 (pronounced Age San), the hugely popular fried sando chain originally hails from Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan before opening its flagship store in the bustling Ginza district of Tokyo. They have since expanded across over 7 countries internationally before landing on our shores.

If your social media feeds aren’t already flooded with clips of their perfectly golden, deep-fried sandwiches, here’s the breakdown.
Unlike conventional chilled and crustless Japanese egg or fruit sandwiches found in convenience stores, Age.3’s signature approach lies in using thick cuts of shokupan (Japanese milk bread) and deep-frying them until super crispy and golden-brown before packing them generously with an array of either sweet or savoury fillings.

As mentioned, the upcoming Orchard branch is slated to roll out 34 different variations of their viral sandos. Those with a sweet tooth can look forward to creations such as a classic Whipped Cream Sando (price TBD). If you feel like trying something more decadent go for the Mont Blanc (price TBD) or Creme Brulee Sando (price TBD).
And if like me, you enjoy fruity flavours, the Mandarin Orange (price TBD) and Chocolate Strawberry (price TBD) are perfect for you.

If you lean more towards hearty, meatier flavours, the savoury selection packs a serious punch with options like the Beef Short Rib Yakiniku Sando with Special Barbecue Sauce (price TBD), Chicken Nanban (price TBD), Grilled Cheese with Smoked Salmon (price TBD), and Grilled Keema Curry (price TBD).
With so many sweet and savoury options, the hardest part won’t be queuing — it’ll be choosing which sando to sink your teeth into first1 Keep your eyes peeled for their official opening date in mid-Nov 2026. I sure am!
