Since 2005, the brand has constantly received accolades, with recent Gold Awards for the following 3 items. This further stamps the brand’s unwavering commitment in delivering excellence.

The first of the 3 gold awardees is a good ol’ classic — Hong Kong MX White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake 2 Yolk (S$76 for 4 pieces). 10. Patisserie La Lune (望月)
Patisserie La Lune (望月) is a new player in town, joining this year’s Mid-Autumn mooncake scene from Hong Kong, over 2,500km away. What began 13 years ago as a petite, under-the-radar bakery — its charm spreading through personal recommendations — has since blossomed into a cherished brand.
Since 2012, they’ve been renowned for their authentic flavours and uncompromising standards, utlising only high quality ingredients and modern techniques.
For this exclusive Singapore launch, they’ll be partnering with local vendor Joy And Yuan, which injects a trendy but heritage-driven approach to bring in premium Chinese pastries to Singapore. Every box is mindfully created, replacing the traditional, square oriental boxes for a slick, rectangular box decked in a simple yet elegant design.

Known for its signature lava-filled mooncakes, Patisserie La Lune rides on the current matcha craze and presents its Lava Matcha Mooncake (S$58 per giftbox of 4 pieces).
After a quick 10-minute heat up using the air fryer, my teeth first sank into a flaky crust before a wave of luscious, robust premium culinary matcha lava flowed onto my palate. It was umami and slightly bitter, almost like sipping on a cup of hot, aromatic matcha made by a Japanese obāsan.

Another not-to-be-missed variety is the Lava Custard Mooncake (S$58 per giftbox of 4 pieces). If salted egg lights up your universe, then you’ll love this luxurious, molten salted egg yolk centre. A word of caution, though — they’re dangerously addictive!
Do note that all signature mooncakes need to be reheated. Though it may seem like a hassle, I guarantee that you’ll get an unforgettable experience! Each box comes with easy-to-follow instructions on storage and serving suggestions. You can also view it on their Instagram.

Don’t think lava mooncakes are their only specialty!. Their 2 varieties of traditional mooncakes are far from conventional. The White Lotus Seed Paste with Egg Yolk (S$55 per giftbox of 4 pieces) boasts smooth white lotus paste and an indulgent salted egg yolk centre. It’s perfectly-balanced with a light savouriness and hints of sweetness.

Another unique creation to look out for is the limited-edition Red Bean Mooncake with Tangerine Peel (S$55 per giftbox of 4 pieces). Enjoy a sweet, nutty redbean centre complemented by bitter-sweet citrusy notes of tangerine skin.
Love to sample a variety of mooncakes just like a chef’s personal tasting menu? Then go for the Signature Assorted Mooncake, containing a lineup of Patisserie La Lune’s best-loved selections. Tantalise your taste buds with a classic custard mooncake, lava custard mooncake, lava matcha mooncake, and matcha red bean mooncake.

12. Soup Restaurant

Since 1991, the famed Soup Restaurant has been synonymous with homely Cantonese fare, best known for their Samsui Ginger Chicken and nourishing double-boiled soups. This year, they’re making their Mid-Autumn debut with a mooncake collection that pays homage to tradition while carrying a meaningful local touch.
Making this first foray extra special is its packaging, in collaboration with local artist Lee Jun Le who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. Adorning the gorgeous tins and elegant scarf wrapping are his adorable drawings, paired with a whimsical typeface he designed specially for the collection.

Soup Restaurant’s debut line-up keeps it classic with 3 baked varieties: White Lotus with Melon Seeds, White Lotus Single Yolk and White Lotus Double Yolk. 13. Man Fu Yuan (Intercontinental Singapore)

This Mid-Autumn festival 2025, the award-winning Man Fu Yuan at InterContinental Singapore invites you to slow down and savour mooncakes that marry heritage with a touch of modern finesse. This year’s collection puts tea at its heart, unveiling 4 new snow skin flavours alongside other refined bakes.
Presentation is always a highlight here. The mooncakes come in sophisticated boxes: lush maroon cases with bird-and-floral motifs that transform into keepsake tissue holders, or turquoise tins adorned with the hotel’s iconic façade.

Tea takes centre stage this year with the Royal Heritage Tea Mooncake Series (S$102), a set of 4 snowskin mooncakes, each pairing an aromatic brew with a luscious truffle core.
The Black Nectar Tea with Pomegranate Truffle Ball layers earthy depth with a burst of tart juiciness, while the delicate Silver Moon Tea with Passion Fruit Truffle Ball leans brighter, with floral notes giving way to tropical tang.
Seeking something zestier? The Orange Blossom Oolong with Citrus Lemon Truffle Ball is lively and refreshing, contrasted by the elegant Emperor’s White Garden Tea with Lychee Truffle Ball, which blooms soft and mellow with a gentle sweetness.

Back with a playful twist is the InterContinental Negroni with Lychee Martini Truffle Ball Mini Snow Skin Mooncake (S$108, 8 pieces). It brings an indulgent blend of white lotus seed paste wrapped around a punchy Negroni truffle ball, its boozy decadence lifted by the lychee’s juicy sweetness.

As for baked classics, Man Fu Yuan keeps tradition alive with light low-sugar favourites like Red Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk (S$88, 4 pieces) and White Lotus Seed Paste with Macadamia Nuts and Pumpkin Seeds (S$90, 4 pieces).

For grand gestures, the Grand Luxe Premium Set (S$158) is a showstopper. A lavish scarlet-red trunk, it opens to reveal an elegant glassware set, Darjeeling sparkling tea and 2 exclusive tea-infused baked mooncakes: Royal Heritage Tea infused with Buah Keluak and Double Egg Yolk, and Royal Heritage Tea infused with Coconut and Double Egg Yolk — an ode to InterContinental’s Peranakan roots.

14. Hung Huat Cakes & Pastries

For 49 years, Hung Huat Cakes & Pastries has been a cherished fixture at Sims Place. This hawker stall at Sims Vista Market & Food Centre serves up various traditional snacks, cookies and even mochi piah— but that’s not all in its arsenal. You’ll also get special Teochew crispy skin mooncakes, snow skin mooncakes, and baked skin mooncake. This year’s mooncake lineup for mid-autumn festival 2025 is no exception.

I headed down and ordered their range of special Teochew crispy skin mooncake. Apparently, you’d need to preorder before heading down to the stall, but I was lucky enough to purchase 1 of each flavour.
The Yam with Egg Yolk (S$14) features a purple and brown crust stuffed with robust yam and salted egg yolk. There were lotus seed bits and it tasted like a bowl of fragrant Teochew orh nee. For those who dislike salted egg yolks, there’s normal Yam (S$12) as well.
The Pistachio Kunafe (S$18) features a layer of subtly sweet chocolate and luscious crunchy pistachio kunafe (puff pastry strips) with pistachio bits. One of my favourites was the Black Sesame Macadamia Custard (S$14) with nutty black sesame paste, macadamia bits and luscious custard. These mooncakes are best served after oven baking or air frying them.

15. Potters’ Table

Potters’ Table was established in 2020 when 2 ceramic artists got together and discovered that they had something in common — the love for making and sharing things with the those around them. They had a simple start, creating sourdough loaves and yam mooncakes. It then gradually grew into an intimate private dining destination where culinary creations and handcrafted ceramics were presented at the same table.
Though founders, Chun and Yeu no longer do private dining and have gone back to their regular jobs, they still practice honing their mooncake craft every year when the Mid-Autumn Festival draws near.

Only the finest ingredients like olive oil, organic raw sugar and flour are used for their Teochew Yam Mooncake (S$60 for 4 pieces), and the owners make it for their own self-indulgence once in a blue moon! The yam paste is made from scratch using fresh yams with a splash of shallot oil for that extra oomph. Even the lard that they utilise for the crust is house-rendered for the utmost purity and quality (mad respect to these 2 gentlemen).
For maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended to reheat the mooncakes in the oven (instructions are provided!). The skin is delightfully flaky and the yam is unctuous with faint hints of lard. When paired with the salted egg yolk, the combination is sublime. Every box of mooncakes also comes with a sachet of Shoumei Tea that complements the yummy morsels with its delicate flavour — detail-oriented, indeed.
Do note that they have Pure Yam and Single Yolk options, which you can mix and match to your needs.

18. Two Bake Boys

Two Bake Boys is a Halal-certified bakery that started in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The business was founded by Phillip and Kitty, both of whom worked as Singapore Airlines cabin crew for nearly a decade. Due to the cancellation of flights during the lockdown, the couple had the idea of starting their own business since their crepe cakes were popular with family and friends.
There’s a 25% discount for the Crepe Cake Gift Box (S$66.75, O.P S$89). These moon crepe cakes may look and feel like regular snow-skin mooncakes, but cut them open and you’ll discover the magnificent layers concealed within. Take your pick from 4 flavours (Thai Tea, Mango, Double Choc and Tiramisu) and create your very own personalised box.
Each 180g handmade piece features smooth low-sugar cream generously slathered in between the pillowy crepe layers, encased in a delicate snowskin for a luxurious mouthfeel.

Two Bake Boys wants the Mid-Autumn Festival to be a treat for everyone, especially those who need to watch their sugar intake. That’s why they’ve released the Traditional Moon Cake (S$58.50, O.P. S$78) that’s suitable for diabetics and doesn’t use any cane sugar. Each box contains 2 pieces of white lotus and 2 pieces of single yolk white lotus.
From 1 Sep to 10 Oct 2025, these mooncakes are available for delivery and pick-up.
Each mooncake is presented in a sophisticated gift box, making it an excellent gift for anyone.

19. Tai Chong Kok

Since 1935, Tai Chong Kok has been a household name for Cantonese confections, from Chinese wedding cakes to soft flour pastries. But come Mid-Autumn, it’s their hand-crafted mooncakes — made the same way for over 90 years — that steal the spotlight.
One of the few bakeries left in Singapore that still makes lotus paste from scratch, they insist on 100% pure lotus seeds, cooked slowly over hours without any preservatives.

As a result, their Traditional Lotus Paste Mooncakes (from S$66 for box of 4) bears a heavenly aroma with a distinct hint of earthiness, rounded out by the crunch of olive kernels. For something smoother and lighter, the White Lotus Paste (from S$68 for box of 4) is velvety on the tongue, dotted with melon seeds for a crunchy contrast.

No mention of Tai Chong Kok would be complete without their Mixed Nuts Mooncake (S$76 for box of 4), a bestseller that has won over generations. Packed with premium nuts and a fragrant bite of Jinhua ham, this is a must-try if you have a penchant for that perfect sweet-savoury balance.
For variety seekers, the bakery also rolls out snowskin mooncakes. These delectable delights are freshly made daily with a soft, mochi-like skin wrapped around fillings like Red Bean Paste (S$62 for box of 4) and Black Sesame (S$68 for box of 4).

20. The Black Pearl

A fresh face in Singapore’s fine-dining scene, rooftop Cantonese restaurant The Black Pearl is marking its very first Mid-Autumn with a suitably elegant debut: 2 luxurious mooncake collections that look as good as they taste. Expect handcrafted creations that fuse Cantonese artistry with a refined, modern edge.

The Pearl Signature Box (S$98) presents as a stylish black suede case embroidered with intricate florals, carrying 4 baked mooncakes.
If you’re after romance in a bite, the Rose Lychee Tea mooncake layers soft floral notes with the juicy sweetness of lychee, wrapped in velvety lotus paste for a delicately perfumed treat. For tea lovers, the White Peach Longjing Tea nails refreshing indulgence by blending the grassy elegance of green tea with sweet bursts of peach.
How about some tang? The Yuzu with SIngle Yolk pairs bright, zesty citrus with the savoury richness of salted egg yolk for a bite that’s equal parts lively and luxurious. And if you need a little soul-soothing, the Brown Sugar Red Dates Ginger Tea Longan Paste offers a warming medley of caramelised sweetness and gentle spice.

For something even more exclusive, splash out on the Pearl Luxe Limited-Edition Box (S$198). Limited to just 88 sets, this one’s presented in a jewel-like chest lined with suede and paired with a bespoke cutlery set — the ultimate collector’s piece this season, perhaps?
