1. Ding Bakery

During the Mid-Autumn festival, mooncake packaging from hotels is often elegant, intricate, and in a league of its own. Such quality and craftsmanship, however, usually comes with a hefty price tag. Thankfully, the 2026 mooncake collection from Ding Bakery delivers the grandeur of a luxury hotel gift set without the steep price.
It’s not all style and no substance, either. The mooncakes from Ding Bakery are handcrafted using only the finest ingredients, are lower in sugar, and contain no preservatives.

Customers can look forward to the extensive variety that includes premium traditional mooncakes, chilled snow skin flavours, lava snow skin, and Black Gold Mao Shan Wang durian snow skin cradled in seasonal-exclusive festive packaging.
The 2026 collection is inspired by the way Singaporeans celebrate Mid-Autumn through gift-giving. It’s common for us to buy several boxes in different configurations to present to parents, clients, friends, neighbours, and other loved ones, making versatility a key consideration.
The highlight of this year’s collection is the Build Your Own Mooncake Bundle.

6. Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant (Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel)

Fancy exquisite, handcrafted mooncakes for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival 2026? From 21 Aug to 25 Sep, the steadfast culinary team at award-winning Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant introduces 5 new baked and snowskin flavours this year.
The mooncakes are housed in 2 elegantly designed gift boxes dressed in warm gold tones and softly-curved edges. Each box is accented with ornate peony motifs that symbolise prosperity, joy and heartfelt wishes.
The Golden Tingkat Box for snowskin mooncakes pays homage to Singapore’s nostalgic tiffin carrier with a sleek two-tier design. Meanwhile, the baked mooncakes are showcased in the Golden Trellis Box, inspired by the hallmark trellis motif of Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.
Diving into their newest creations, I was stoked when I spotted my latest oolong tea obsession in the ‘Da Hong Pao‘ Tea with Cranberries and Golden Raisins baked mooncake. Earthy and deeply roasted, the tea-infused lotus paste mooncake had robust Da Hong Pao notes with a subtle floral finish. I loved the golden raisins and cranberries that made it taste unique. I also relished in the woody sweetness of the Honey Hawthorn with Pecan Nuts baked mooncake, complemented by hawthorne and pecans.

I enjoyed the harmonious blend of boozy Baileys liqueur, sea salt chocolate and velvety praline centre of the all-new Sea Salt Chocolate with Baileys Praline snowskin mooncake.
One of my favourites is the Matcha with Balsamic Strawberry Praline snowskin mooncake. Who knew a splash of vibrant balsamic could take the trendy matcha and strawberry duo to the next level? There’s also a classic Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut Praline snowskin mooncake joining the lineup this year.
If you love variety, the Assorted Snowskin Mooncakes (S$94 for 8 pieces) and Assorted Baked Mooncakes (S$94 for 4 pieces) are perfect picks, featuring a curated selection of signature and new flavours in a single box.

7. Xin Cuisine (Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium)

Available from now till 21 Sep, Xin Cuisine at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium proudly showcases its 2026 Mid-Autumn Collection, “Never Just a Mooncake”. This range celebrates the joy of happy gatherings, transforming every mooncake gift into a treasured memento filled with meaningful memories.

This year, the mooncakes are housed in their Poet’s Dream Box, a blush-hued keepsake box with a crystal-clear cover. The design captures the essence of the classic verse ‘月是故乡明’ (the moon is brightest over one’s hometown), which represents a person’s deep affection and strong desire for their motherland.
Framed by a luminous full moon and elegant blooming blossoms, this refined box symbolises hope, fresh beginnings, and the enduring spirit of the season. It beautifully concludes with their own poetic interpretation — “饼是故乡新, 月是故乡圆” (the cakes taste freshest from home, and the moon shines roundest over one’s hometown).
The memento box has a premium textured finish and features various compartments which can be reused as a jewellery or trinket box.
Do note that collection and delivery starts from 25 Aug.

We tried the all-new Orange Whiskey Mini Snowskin Mooncake (S$84 for 6 pieces) which combines the bright, zesty notes of orange with the smooth mellowness of whiskey for a well-balanced pairing. We found that the new Elderflower Apple Mini Snowskin Mooncake is delightfully floral with fresh fruity notes. The delicate floral nuances of elderflower harmonised perfectly with the sweet-smelling fragrance of apples.
Planning a gift for your family, friends or business associates during this mid-autumn festival? Say hooray to more savings with the 1-for-1 promotion at Xin Cuisine for its Mini Snowskin Mooncakes, Low-Sugar Baked Mooncakes, and Peranakan Durian Mini Snowskin Mooncake. This year’s range of one-of-a-kind handcrafted mooncakes comes in 3 uniquely-designed heirloom boxes, all cleverly constructed to have a second lease of life even after the festive season.

Designed to honour the beauty of the harvest moon, this year’s showstopper is a Luminous Musical Gift Box, redefining the finesse of a high-jewellery display. With a transparent, glasshouse-like structure and intricate floral engravings, it houses a gold ceramic trinket tray with an enchanting bunny ornament. A radiant moon that’s suspended above commands attention.
With a gentle turn of a winding mechanism, a soothing melody fills the airwaves, harmonising modern elegance with a soft nostalgia.
You can look forward to 2 new snowskin flavours that enter the spotlight this season. The Chocolate Pistachio Crunch Mini Snowskin Mooncake weaves together rich, satiny chocolate with the irresistible crunch of pistachio. This makes for a mouth-watering and decadent combination.

9. Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

Taking inspiration from the moon’s perpetual presence across continents, cultures, and time zones, the 2026 Lunar Voyages Mooncake Collection by Crowne Plaza Changi Airport takes centrestage this Mid-Autumn Festival.
There are a total of 2 collectible gift boxes, each showcasing an interactive lid to pay homage to the passage of time and our shared connection underneath the same moonlit sky.
Since Crowne Plaza Changi Airport sees countless international travellers passing through its doors everyday, the concept strikes me as pure genius.

Encased in the Cosmopolitan Blue Gift Box, this season’s Assorted Snow Skin Collection (S$86) introduces a fresh lineup of 4 new flavours. For a fruity tea combination, the Long Jing with White Peach presents fragrant green tea lotus paste paired with sweet dried white peach.
The Sakura Lychee with Rose Petals is a pale pink masterpiece harmonising fruity lychee with delicate floral rose notes. I loved the textured mouthfeel of the Blueberry and Red Berry Crumble that has blueberry lotus paste and a crisp mixture of berry crumble. My favourite was the Green Tea with Pistachio Crunch that had a delicious pistachio centre.
Available in a quartet, the luxurious, creamy Premium Musang King Durian Snow Skin (S$88) makes a comeback after a string of positive responses from last year.

Traditionalists aren’t left out with the baked mooncakes, housed in the Luxuriant Orange Gift Box in a set of 4. Taking the spotlight is the new Low Sugar Six-Grain White Lotus Paste (S$86), filled with pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, black sesame, and walnuts for added texture and depth.
Other flavours include the White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (S$84), White Lotus Paste with Double Yolks (S$86), and Low Sugar White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts (S$84). To savour a little of everything, get the Assorted Baked Collection (S$86) that features one of each flavour.

10. Hong Kong MX

Reigning supreme for 28 straight years, Hong Kong MX remains Hong Kong’s undisputed top premium mooncake brand. Till this day, it has preserved the artistry, craftsmanship, and heritage practices of crafting its award-winning masterpieces.

Hong Kong MX mooncakes have constantly delivered on quality and taste, so it’s no surprise that they’ve received the prestigious Monde Selection awards since 2005. This year, several of its mooncake varieties have once again been recognised with the 2026 Monde Selection Gold Award.
Starting with the brand’s most iconic mooncake, the White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with 2 Egg Yolks (S$73) is known to be the gold standard of traditional mooncake craftsmanship.
Enveloped in a delicate golden pastry, the sweet and savoury mooncake is filled with luscious white lotus seed paste together with 2 premium salted egg yolks. There are also other variations like the Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with 2 Egg Yolks (S$73) and Low Sugar Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with Egg Yolk (S$73).
The highly-regarded Lava Custard Mooncake (S$75) uses its signature double-baking technique to achieve its rich, smooth-as-silk molten custard centre.
Sometimes, consuming too many Mooncakes in one setting can be a little overwhelming. Refresh your palate with the citrusy Super Lemon Mooncake (S$45). This light and fun twist features a tangy lava filling, bursting with bold zest.
If you want a plethora of flavours in one complete package, the Snowy Premium Delicacies Gift Box (S$83) makes for a perfect present with 7 meticulously-selected snowy mooncake varieties. Enjoy delightful flavours like the Mango with Pomelo Dessert, delivering vibrant fruit flavours and a soft, chewy texture.

This mooncake season, Hong Kong MX teams up with famous Japanese illustrator Arisa Shimoda, featuring visually-stunning limited-edition gift boxes inspired by her iconic whimsical cat illustrations.
The Arome x ARISA SHIMODA Meow Bento Mooncake Gift Box (S$45) features 4 golden lava custard mooncakes that are the ideal festive gift for family, friends, and cat lovers alike.

11. Potters’ Table

2 ceramic artists, Chun and Yeu, got together in 2020 and created Potters’ Table when they realised that they had something in common. Both of them had the passion for creating and sharing things with those around them. Whenever the Mid-Autumn festival approaches yearly, they make it a point to hone their mooncake craft.

Only premium ingredients such as olive oil, organic raw sugar and flour are utilised for their Teochew Yam Mooncake (S$60 for 4 pieces), and the owners make it for their own self-indulgence once in a blue moon! The yam paste is made from scratch using fresh yams with a splash of shallot oil for that extra oomph. Even the lard that they utilise for the crust is house-rendered for the utmost purity and quality (mad respect to these 2 gentlemen).
For maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended to reheat the mooncakes in the oven (instructions are provided!). The skin is delightfully flaky and the yam is unctuous with faint hints of lard. When paired with the salted egg yolk, the combination is sublime.
Do note that they have Pure Yam and Single Yolk options, which you can mix and match to your needs.

12. Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

From now till 25 Sep 2026, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore celebrates the warmth and elegance of Mid-Autumn Festival with Moonlit Harmony. I loved their range of pastel green and blue mooncake boxes, almost retro-like that were decorated with elegant peonies and butterflies.
The crowd-favourite Four Treasures (S$107.90) has a curated foursome of heritage classics and special creations. Besides the traditional silky smooth White Lotus Paste with Single and Double Yolks, I’m glad that the popular Black Sesame with Mochi are making a reappearance. The black sesame paste is nutty and earthy while the mochi centre is soft and chewy. I also loved how the Assorted Nuts bursts with multiple textures and flavours with tiny morsels of nutty goodness in every mouthful.

Ideal as a gift, the petite set of Two Treasures Baked Mooncake (S$74.10) features 2 signature favourites: White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk and Black Sesame with Mochi mooncakes.

13. What Enny Made

What Enny Made is a home-based business, operated under-the-radar by none other than Enny, a humble and talented homemaker. She has been making mooncakes for over 8 years and didn’t graduate from any prestigious culinary school. Instead, she learned everything by herself, absorbing knowledge through interactions with others and online groups that focus on sharing mooncake crafting techniques.
This year, Enna launches the Lunar Collection 2026 (S$44), a 6-piece vegetarian-friendly mooncake collection that’s adorable, looking just like fruits and vegetables harvested from your own garden.

The skin is light and flaky, almost resembling tau sar pia. 2 flavours that stood out were the Purple Yam and Lotus Yam, which were dense and flavourful without feeling too jelak. The Oolong Rum Longan is delicate and fresh while the Red Date tastes very nostalgic.

14. Fu Yuan Teochew Dining

Fu Yuan Teochew Dining is known for its impeccable dishes and handcrafted dim sum, but I bet you didn’t know that they offer mooncakes, too! Yes, 6 varieties of baked options, to be exact. The collection is healthier and features a signature low-sugar white lotus paste with a silky, premium finish.

Credit – Fu Yuan Teochew DiningI personally don’t eat sweet stuff often, so both the Low Sugar White Lotus with Melon Seeds — Single Yolk (S$76.80 for 4 pieces) and Low Sugar White Lotus with Melon Seeds — Double Yolk (S$78.80 for 4 pieces) were up my alley.
As someone who regularly snacks on macadamias, I found the Low Sugar Pure White Lotus with Macadamia Nut (S$68.80 for 4 pieces) to be creamy and satisfying with a nice crunch in every bite. I found the Low Sugar Royal Osmanthus Tea White Lotus (S$78.80 for 4 pieces) to be subtly floral, perfect for tea enthusiasts. There’s also the Assorted Mix (S$78.80 for 4 pieces) which allows you to curate your own box with any 4 varieties.

15. Hung Huat Cakes & Pastries

We tried the new range of mooncakes from 50-year-old Hung Huat Cakes & Pastries at Sims Vista Market & Food Centre. The Premium Uji Matcha Custard Baked Skin Mooncakes (S$14 each) was slightly grassy and had umami notes of matcha presented in a luscious and smooth custard. The Premium Salted Egg Golden Custard will appeal to all salted egg fans while the Premium Sakura White Peach Oolong (S$14) is a delicate balance of fruit flavours and tea.

Under the Teochew Crispy Layered Skin Mooncake collection, I savoured the decadent Premium Teochew Crispy Pistachio with Dark Chocolate Ganache (S$19 each) and loved how the mild earthiness of the crispy pistachio paste went so well with the dark chocolate centre.
I also enjoyed the Premium Teochew Crispy Hokkaido Milk Paste with Mochi (S$14.50 each). The milk paste was smooth-as-silk and was the perfect partner to the chewy mochi centre.

For traditional flavours and familiar gifting, Hong Kong MX and Crowne Plaza Changi Airport offer classic white lotus and yolk combinations, while Fu Yuan Teochew Dining suits those who prefer lower-sugar options. Teochew mooncake enthusiasts can consider Potters’ Table for its flaky yam-filled pastries, while Hung Huat Cakes & Pastries is a practical choice for individual pieces and smaller budgets. For contemporary flavours, Peach Blossoms and Wan Hao offer combinations such as tea, fruit, chocolate and praline. Those buying several boxes may prefer Ding Bakery for its customisable bundles, while Comvita suits shoppers looking for Halal-certified, room-temperature mooncakes with honey-based flavours. The most suitable choice depends on flavour preferences, gifting needs and budget.
