Personally, I don’t think Valentine’s Day is meant for just giant teddy bears and boxes of chocolates. I may not frequent the clubs or drink often, but I do enjoy the occasional party.
Lucky for you party animals out there, there’s a Valentine’s Day event specially catered to those who don’t believe in romanticising the popular “holiday”. Singapore Pub Crawl is organising a Cupid Is Stupid Pub Crawl for anyone and everyone to mingle, drink and make merry this 14 February 2020.
For those of you who don’t know what a pub crawl entails, here’s a simple explanation.
Typically, you have to get tickets for the pub crawl, meet up at a bar, and go bar-hopping. People from all walks of life are welcome to join, so if you’re looking to meet new people or spend time with your friends on a fun night out, head down to this event to party the night away.
According to Singapore Pub Crawl, they’d like to take on Cupid’s role of finding love for fellow pub crawlers. Despite the very brief disclaimer that love isn’t guaranteed, they have also expressed that there are infinite possibilities through the crawl.
Expect to hit Singapore’s finest bars in the first half of the event and then head over to a bustling nightclub to show off your dance moves. One great thing about the crawl is that it is inclusive—yes, you heard me, couples are welcome too.
Some of the highlights include a party bus, free shooters at every bar, exclusive drink specials and VIP nightclub entry. Take note that the attire is “dress to undress” so be prepared to don your cutest and trendiest outfits because Singapore Pub Crawl is planning to give away tons of gifts to those who are well-dressed.
The meeting place is the famous Fat Pigeon Statue at UOB Plaza near Raffles Place, and registration is from 7pm to 8pm. There will be free booze at registration, so arrive earlier if you’re interested in a little pre-game. No shorts or flip flops are allowed for the men, and no flip flops for women.
Here’s to an unconventional Valentine’s Day this year!
