Although large-scale celebrations have to be put on hold right now, there’s no reason for you and the family not to have a cosy gathering right in the safety and comfort of home this Father’s Day. With so many places offering special menus and mouth-watering menus curated especially for the day to honour and show your love for Dad, these recommendations are just the tip of the iceberg. So, peruse this list of 10 food deliveries to delight Dad with and place your orders quickly, because I’m sure everyone will want to pamper their Dads too!
I know how someone can speak to my soul, and that is with a hearty steak meal. If your Dad feels the same way about succulent steak, then Fat Cow is the way to go. From 15 to 20 June 2021, gift him a meal to remember with a special set lunch (S$99++) created especially for this limited period. It starts with a silky Chawanmushi, before digging into a refreshing Yasai Seiro Mushi (a vegetable medley). Next, allow him to be comforted by the Miso Soup, before moving on to fresh Sashimi Moriawase and savoury Karei Nitsuke. The Karei Nitsuke features a very specific type of flounder, karei or righteye flounder (halibut), which is known for its tender, white, non-oily flesh. The fish is simmered in a broth of soy sauce, sake, and mirin until it’s reduced.
We can’t forget including Fat Cow’s Signature Fat Rice—fluffy high-quality Japanese rice mixed with rendered Wagyu beef fat, hand-minced dried kelp, and truffle oil. Polish off the satiating meal with Burnt Basque de Cheesecake with Seasonal Sorbet, for a memorable lunch. For dads who like to indulge in a tipple with their meal will certainly love to try Fat Cow Sake (S$125++ per bottle), Fat Cow’s own daiginjo sake produced exclusively for them by Watanabe Sahei Brewery in Tochigi. While the set lunch is unavailable for delivery, take-away is still a viable option.
This Father’s Day, delighting Dad will be an extra treat because the folks at Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore has not three, not four, but a five-course meal (S$119 per set) to spoil that special man in your life. It’s available for lunch and dinner, on 19 & 20 June 2021, so be sure to place your orders early.
Kick off the celebration with a robust Seafood Stew brimming with fresh mussels, clams, sliced octopus, and prawns, followed by Rolled Parmigiana Crêpe with Deep Fried Shrimp. Remind dad to pace himself because he’ll want to make room for the star of the show—Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef. It’s aged up to 28 days for maximum tenderness and slowly roasted on beds of rock salt. This method helps to retain moisture and ensures evenly succulent and flavourful meat.
Alternatively, there’s also an option to choose Atlantic Lobster Tail with Pan Seared Barramundi Fillet or Goose Foie Gras with Pan Seared Chicken, if dad’s more a seafood or chicken type of guy. Finally, wrap the meal on a sweet note with two desserts—Butterscotch Chocolate Coffee Cake and Red Tea Mousse Cake—because you really cannot get enough of a good thing. Don’t leave dad to revel in the celebration alone; every three sets ordered will entitle you to a complimentary bottle of Island Easter Moscato for takeaway.
Diners get to enjoy 10% off the set menus for deposits placed before 12 June 2021, with five lucky winners having the chance to walk away with a bottle of Maker’s Mark Whisky (375ml). There’s no better way to honour dad, IMHO. This exclusive two-day Father’s Day set is available for takeaway, curbside pick-up, and delivery.
Sundays are meant for family, and what better way to bond with Dad and the rest of the clan than with Amò, where they have Sunday Familgila, where kids under 10 years old enjoy a complimentary three-course meal, with every main course ordered. They also have a special pizza kit (S$20 – S$28) that features Amò’s famous slow-fermented dough, a housemade base sauce (San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Pumpkin Sauce, or Truffle Cream Sauce), buffalo mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil and flour, and a variety of add-ons of meats and vegetables.
Of course, you can certainly skip the DIY part and head straight to the eating with their selection of pasta, pizzas, and meat entrées.
Right now, you can quote ‘DELIVER20‘ for 20% off delivery or ‘PICKUP25‘ for 25% off self-collection when you place your order (minimum order of S$40 applies) on their site. An island-wide delivery fee of S$7 applies as well, but if you spend a minimum of S$100, you’ll have your order zipped to your doorstep for free.
Order a feast for a king this Father’s Day, with Caffe Cicheti‘s Family Brunch (S$128). Word on the streets is that Caffe Cicheti serves casual, flavourful Italian grub in their pasta selections and pizzas. Now, you can have the convenience of their toothsome fare delivered right to you, with their brunch special highlighting beef cheef ragu, lasagna, waffles, truffle fries, and of course, the all-time classic Tiramisu and crowd-favourite Bomboloni.
The set is available from 11am to 3pm, Saturday & Sunday, but place your orders now if you don’t want to miss out. Of course, you can always make the merriment even meatier by adding on signatures such as Cioppino, Seabass Acqua Pazza, and Gnocchi. I’m aware that it’s a stereotype that men aren’t fond of desserts, but I’m sure there are plenty out there who’ll surprise you with their penchant for sweet treats. That’s where BreadTalk comes in—for the dads who love ending their meals with a slice of cake. This year, they’ve launched not one, but two special flavours just for Father’s Day, of which, either I’m sure Dad will appreciate—along with the whole family.
Chocolate Papamint and Super Dad (S$38.80 each) are six-inch cakes with the former being a chocolate-peppermint cake and the latter being a black sesame and oreo sesame cheesecake. If Dad is a fan of other BreadTalk pastries, why not complement the cake with a Signature Bundle (S$15.80) that comes with two Floss Buns, two Hazel Cacao buns, two Sun Flower buns, and two bottles of Soy Milk. Delivery fees will only set you back by S$7, island-wide. Take a break and have a slice of cake with Dad on his special day.

Dressed minimally with a salad, the Kainomi cut is a small section of rib that is closest to the tenderloin and offers a delicate balance between lean and marbled meat.
