Potato Head Singapore, which has been a bustling place on Keong Saik Road for 10 years, is closing to make way for a new idea. The restaurant, which is part of the Potato Head family, became a popular attraction due to its unique atmosphere, gourmet burgers, speciality cocktails, and energetic rooftop parties.

The team announced the closure on Instagram, thanking patrons and workers for their support throughout the years. They also hinted at future plans for the famous location at 36 Keong Saik Road, implying that something interesting is on the way.

In fact, Potato Head’s Instagram has changed its name to 1939 – a bar that fuses art and cocktails rooted by sustainability and community.

Although Potato Head Singapore is closing, the brand’s flagship site in Bali will continue to operate. The Bali site remains a hub for cuisine, beverages, and creative activities, allowing Potato Head lovers to enjoy its signature style in another area of Southeast Asia.

The closure in Singapore signals the end of an era, but it also opens the door to new opportunities in the same historic place.

The current Keong Saik location was well-known not only for its unique food but also for the colourful atmosphere it created, transforming the area into a social hub for both locals and visitors.
