The news is shared through the restaurant’s official Instagram page, where the team thanks their loyal customers for years of support and invites everyone to return for one last meal before operations come to an end.

Ramen Bar Shishido is best known for serving a wide range of ramen that balances tradition with playful creativity. They even once offered Croissant Ramen for a limited time in 2023!

Diners can savour the Ajitama Chashu Ramen, a comforting classic with rich tonkotsu broth, marinated egg, and melt-in-your-mouth pork slices.

The Shi Shi Ramen offers a bold house-style interpretation, while the Yakibuta Ramen delivers smoky, slow-roasted pork belly that deepens the broth’s complexity. For those who prefer a fiery kick, the Mala Ramen brings a tingling spice that has become a favourite among heat-seekers.

Meanwhile, the Lemon Tonkotsu Ramen and Lemon Yakibuta Ramen present refreshing citrus notes that cut through the richness of the broth, offering a unique twist rarely found in traditional ramen shops.

Fans of dipping noodles should turn to the Tonkotsu Tsukemen, where cold, springy noodles are dipped into a concentrated broth for an intensely flavourful experience.

The menu also extends beyond ramen. Guests can enjoy Okinawa Taco Rice, a Japanese take on Tex-Mex flavours layered over fluffy rice, as well as hearty rice bowls like Yurinchi Don, featuring fried chicken drizzled with tangy sauce.

Dig into Chicken Namban, where juicy chicken is paired with creamy tartar. The Shogayaki Don, with tender slices of ginger pork, rounds out the lineup of comforting Japanese classics.

As September draws to a close, the restaurant continues to welcome guests daily (except on Tues!), encouraging regulars and newcomers alike to enjoy one last taste of its beloved dishes. Do drop by if you’re in the area!
