A new mookata spot just opened in Marsiling on 19 May 2023! Thai Me Up is a mookata subsidiary of Lok Me Up, the extremely affordable S$0.60 per stick lok lok joint in Toa Payoh.

Like it’s sister brand, Thai Me Up has a rather unique naming sense and certainly invites curiosity.

It is hidden in an industrial area but, fear not, for it is quite close to Woodlands Interchange and Republic Poly.

Thai Me Up is rather affordable, going at S$25 for a 2 pax platter, and S$45 for a 4 pax platter. If you’re extra hungry, you can choose from a wide range of marinated meat, seafood, veggies, carbs and even an assortment of ready-made sides. Some of them are topped with delicious mentaiko sauce and even cheese.

What’s more, they offer a free flow mentaiko mayo and other sauces like home-made chilli sauce, suki sauce and nacho cheese sauce. Take your pick of sauce and sauce-up to your heart’s content.

Diners say Thai Me Up serves well-marinated meat and their broth is hearty and comforting, sure to satisfy all your late night cravings.

Their Half Shelled Scallop with Mentaiko (S$7) is said to be extremely juicy and fresh.  If you ever need to take a break from cooking, you can order those, too. Grilled to perfection, the ready-to-eat scallops are topped with beautifully torched mentaiko mayo.

Don’t miss out on their Portobello mushroom with Cheese (S$7), either. Topped with plenty of ooey-gooey cheesy goodness, it is sure to hit the spot after all the meat and seafood.

So if you ever get those mookata cravings in the dead of night, why not drop by Thai Me Up to get your fill of Thai hotpot?
