If you’re a seasoned cafe hopper, then you’d probably have heard of Cafe de Nicole’s Flower and Les Jardin, both of which have amassed a sizeable amount of fans for their beautifully-decorated, floral-themed interiors. The folks behind these two floral themed cafes have unveiled a third one—Under Der Linden—which is similarly decked out in breathtaking blooms.
This dining concept is at Under Der Linden inspired by the medieval German lyrical poet, Walther von der Vogelweide, whose poetry is etched on the cafe’s interior and walls. The cafe itself is made up of aesthetic light and neutral shades, and brimming with gorgeous flowers in true Nicole’s Flower style. This eatery is also pet-friendly and boasts of an al fresco dining area for you and your fur babies to take a much-needed afternoon off.
As for food, the menu at Under Der Linden is made for sharing, so bring your friends along for some Iberico Pork Secreto ($34), Galician Octopus ($24), Nduja Ragu Pappardelle ($22), Ora King Salmon (S$34), and more. Or if you’re in charge of planning the next dinner date out, this romantic, flower-filled venue will surely call for a night to remember.
You can also opt for their Linden Creations, with uniquely crafted, non-alcoholic concoctions of fragrant herbs and refreshing fruits. Take your pick from calamansi and apple-infused On The Heather (S$8), the Heaven’s Queen! (S$8) which boasts of refreshing mint and lime, and more. If you’re feeling cocktails, add on a Single Shot (additional S$4) of your choice of rum, gin, or vodka.
