I love Vietnam! The heritage streets, people, and most importantly… its delicious food. For those working around the Millenia Walk area, you should check out VietSmith which serves up contemporary Vietnamese cuisine.

Having recently opened on 27 Mar 2023, the restaurant’s menu has a broad spectrum of food for you to indulge in.

Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a bowl of heartwarming pho with options like Poached Shredded Chicken, Homemade Chicken Meatball (S$15.90), Grilled Chicken Dry Vermicelli (S$14.90), Sliced Beef, Beef Meatball (S$15.90) and Oxtail (S$18.90).

If you’re in the mood to give yourself a treat, order from the premium beef series like the Wagyu Beef, Honeycomb Beef Tripe (S$21.90) or Wagyu Beef, Beef Tendon, Beef Meatball, Honeycomb Beef Tripe (S$22.90).

The menu also has dishes suitable for large families or group of friends to share amongst themselves. VietSmith’s highly recommended choice is the Signature Grilled Saigon Chicken (S$15.90 for half, S$28.90 for whole).

You can pair the dish with Broken Rice (Com Tam) (S$1.50), which is consumed mostly by the poor who could not afford regular rice in Vietnam. It tastes the same as normal white rice except they are smaller. Because of this, it has a slightly different texture and is able to soak in flavours better.

Other dishes which you can share the calories with include Flame Grilled Catfish with Homemade Sauce (S$18.90) and Grilled Beef Wrapped in Vine Leaves (S$15.90).

There’re also traditional and elevated street foods available to complement your main meals. Tuck into Fresh Spring Roll with Shrimp (S$7.90), Grilled Quail Egg with Minced Chicken Pancake and Savoury Prawn & Coconut Mini Pancake (S$14.90).

After all that lovely savoury grub, remember to save your stomach for the Caramelised Banana with Ice Cream (S$6.90).

To finish off your meal, sip on a cup of Coco Nut Latte (S$6.90) or Pandan Gula Melaka Latte (S$6.90). If you’re more of a traditionalist, get the Vietnamese drip coffee series like the Iced Milk Coffee (S$5.50) or hot Black Coffee (S$4).

Head down to Millenia Walk today for some delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
