The hype for fish skin snacks has been going on for the past few years, and I never fail to see guests munching on these snacks at every gathering.

If you love these crunchy and umami chips but aren’t a fan of the fishy smell, here’s a yummy alternative for you.

Local snack company Pok Pok Chicken Skin will be launching their Fried Chicken Skin Crisps on 17 June 2019!

Just not too long ago, we received news that KFC Indonesia was selling fried chicken skin and we were so excited. Now, we can finally get it in Singapore!

Pok Pok Chicken Skin Crisps claim to be crisper and tastier than any other regular fried skin snacks.

The original flavour comes with a coating of salt and pepper — not too overwhelming, but enough to bring out the flavours of the skin.

At S$8.50 for a 100g bag, the price point is comparable to Irvin’s Salted Egg Fish Skin. These bags will be available on Pok Pok Chicken Skin’s website from August.

But if you can’t wait to get your hands on these, head over to the pop-up stores. From 17 – 21 June and 24 – 28 June 2019, they will be available at B1 in Raffles Xchange. They will also be at B1 in Suntec City from 1 – 12 July 2019.

Psst, if you follow their social media platforms, you can get an additional 10% discount.

While I’m not sure if the chicken skin snacks from KFC Indonesia would ever be available in Singapore, I would definitely be down to try these from Pok Pok!

Dates & Times: Available from 7 – 21 June & 24 – 28 June 2019 (Raffles Xchange), 1 – 12 July 2019 (Suntec City)

Prices: S$8.50 per 100g bag
