Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch?

The generous owners of Uncle Sky Singapore Hainanese Chicken rice are distributing 100 packets of Chicken Rice (S$3) to the first 100 Pioneer Generation customers every Wednesday.

‘Pioneer Generation’ refers to those who were born on or before 31 December 1949, and hence helped to build our Singapore today.

‘Merdeka Generation’ would refer to those born between 1950 and 1959, and who have contributed to our nation-building greatly too.

Don’t you just love how socially responsible these hawkers are? We can only wish for continued success in their operations!
