Nestled in National Gallery Singapore, GEMMA Steakhouse is a modern interpretation of traditional Italian sophistication with old-world charms and a trendy festive atmosphere. Spearheaded by the group’s newly-appointed Group Executive Chef Daniele Sperindio, this 68-seater restaurant serves up contemporary Italian cuisine alongside a stellar beverage menu.

As with all Italian steakhouses, the jewel of the kitchen is the trademark Josper oven, where hunks of Tuscan-style T-Bone Fiorentina Steak (S$25 per 100g) are seared right in front of you. From the 30-day aged Porterhouse to the 45-day aged bone-in ribeye Costata, each and every cut is exclusively sourced and dry-aged for the eatery.

Large-format steaks aside, prime meats sourced from all around the world are also available here at GEMMA Steakhouse. Meat loving diners can choose to indulge in the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef Sirloin ($118) from Japan, 20-day aged Foyle Striploin ($76) from Ireland, or the Te Mana Lamb Rack ($78) from New Zealand.

Completing your meal is an array of scrumptious sides such as Whipped Agria Potato, Purple Sage and Fermented Parsnip ($16) and a Southern Italian-inspired Mugnuli Wild Broccoli, Garlic Salmoriglio and Pecorino ($16).

How can we miss out on pasta when it comes to Italian cuisine? At GEMMA Steakhouse, artisanal and house-made pasta adds to the variety. For the restaurant’s take on the timeless Roman classic, opt for the Spaghetti ‘Monograno Felicetti’ Cacio & Pepe (S$28). Otherwise, pamper yourself with a plate of Cappelletti Pasta, Maine Lobster, Caramelised Chervil, Sea Urchin Emulsion (S$58) for a deep taste of the ocean and all the goodness within.

With cocktails served stylishly to your table on cocktail carts and an extensive wine list that boasts arguably one of the city’s best collection of Italian and French Wines, no wonder GEMMA Steakhouse has been fully reserved since its opening. If you are itching for some delectable cuts of steak and a good glass of wine to go along, look no further as GEMMA Steakhouse is the place to be.
