Befitting its name, Golden Moments is, once again, giving us the honour of indulging in Asia’s undisputed King of Fruits in another luxurious, yet convenient way. Starting 13 October 2021, they’re selling Premium Mao Shan Wang Durian ice cream, made with 100% natural ingredients without any artificial flavourings, incorporating fresh puree of premium Black Gold Mao Shan Wang Durian from Pahang.

The 100ml tubs go for S$8.80 each, with pre-orders available on their site from their launch date. Subsequently, the Durian Ice Cream will be sold at supermarkets, petrol kiosks, and other retail partners islandwide from November 2021 onwards.

Flipping off the cover of the ice cream tub releases an intoxicating aroma that’s unmistakably addictive if you absolutely adore durian, just like me. One look at I can tell just how creamy the ice cream is—but the real test is in its taste. Of course, the taste is a testament to Golden Moments’ commitment to quality, and not before long, my entire single-serving tub is clean.

In case you’re wondering where you might’ve seen their shimmering packaging elsewhere, perhaps it’s from the ad campaign that features Creative Director and Brand Ambassador, Jeanette Aw. “The film highlights the brand’s message to ‘treasure golden moments‘. Very often, many of us get so caught up with work and family takes a backseat. Sometimes, the best present you can give your loved ones is time and accompaniment. Hopefully, this short film will be able to serve as a reminder to treasure your loved ones”, she says.

The heartwarming three-minute reel relays the personal sentiments of Jeanette Aw while reflecting upon our hectic work culture—something I’m sure all of us can relate to.
