Available only until 30 Sep 2025, this limited-edition drink is a tribute to the national dish. Before you roll your eyes, hear them out. Instead of literally blending sambal and anchovies (thank heavens), Fufootea has reimagined the dish into something more palateable.
The “sambal” comes in the form of juicy watermelon, followed by butterfly pea glutinous rice that adds that familiar blue hue and chewy bite, while the creamy coconut smoothie base ties everything together.
To finish, the “cucumber and ikan bilis” are transformed into a garnish of fresh cucumber slices and crunchy toasted coconut flakes. And because it’s Merdeka season, there’s also a Buy 2 Free 1 Special. Order any 2 drinks from the menu and you’ll receive a free drink from the Malaysia Series.
Of course, if nasi lemak in a cup isn’t quite your speed, Fufootea’s menu has no shortage of crowd-pleasers. The Joyful Watermelon DGG (RM15.21) is a fruity pick-me-up designed for sharing moments of laughter.

Those with a soft spot for everything adorable might fall for the Cute & Charm Strawberry Mochi (RM20.31), a dopamine-pink concoction that looks like it belongs on your Instagram grid as much as in your hand.
