Craving Malaysian-style pork noodles or porridge, but don’t want to leave Singapore? Visit Imperial Broth Noodles, a new stall at Hougang Avenue 3’s Seven Star Coffeeshop.

The stall, which opened on 12 Jun, is a venture by Melvin Chew, the owner of Jin Ji Teochew Braised Duck & Kway Chap, along with a few partners.

Tan Sini, one of the owners, told SETHLUI.com about why she started the stall. “My biggest motivation was to share the authentic flavours from Malaysia. I noticed many stalls here had adapted dishes, but I wanted Singaporeans to taste the true balance of spices, herbs, and ingredients.”

Here, you can have your soup noodles in 2 flavours: original and herbal. Both are freshly simmered for 6 hours daily, creating a rich, comforting broth that’ll leave you wanting more.

If you’re wondering which soup items to try, go for their Premium All-in Signature Soup (S$7), which can be paired with noodles for an extra S$0.80.

Prefer a cheaper option for your first visit? You can try the Signature Fresh Pork Noodle Soup (S$5.50) or Crispy Lard Rice (S$2.50). They also offer Fresh Meat Pork Bone Porridge (s$5.50) if you’re not in the mood for rice or noodles.

Whether it’s soup, noodles or porridge, Imperial Broth Noodles stands out for its bold, authentic flavours that also cater to local preferences. You can even add Pig Blood (S$1.80) for a traditional Malaysian taste.

If you’re a Malaysian seeking a taste of home, or a local looking for your next food adventure, Imperial Broth Noodles is the place for you. Visit the new stall and decide whether it’s for you!

I can't cook, but I can eat and tell you if the food is good. I love almost everything that goes with coriander, spring onions or vinegar, but absolutely hate ginger and garlic.
