Love ornamental fish? Miss snorkelling with fishes? Then this cafe in Papar, Sabah is the restaurant for you! Okay, so you can’t actually snorkel with them. But Adaway Cafe lets you dine in with koi fish swimming underneath your tables!

Before setting foot into the koi fish dining area of the cafe, customers have to wash their feet thoroughly before entering. If you’re not up for a school of fishes swimming around your feet, the cafe has a section for those who prefer to stay dry.

Besides dipping your toes in the koi fish pool, you should also give this cafe’s food a try. And no, you don’t have to eat fish. They mainly serve western food here and some of their suggested meals are Grill Lamb Chop, Grilled Chicken Chop, Hot Chicken Burger and Hot Beef Burger. You’ll be pleased to know that the burger patties are homemade.
