brewlander - several beers

Supported by Singapore Tourism Board, the festival will feature more than 100 unique brews. The selections come from both local and international breweries including America, Europe and Australia.

brewlander - passionfruit beer

Even with the extensive list of original and flavoured craft beers, my colleagues and I simply could not resist downing cans of Brewlander’s Passionista Passionfruit Hazy (S$8.90). A refreshing choice for the night, this fruit-forward tangy and sweet flavours were accented by the brew’s hops

Those looking for heartier and more full-bodied options should not miss out on Respect (S$7). Rich coffee and cacao notes amplifies the creamy texture attained in this porter. Almost like a dessert on its own, the addition of Willamette hops draws a hint of elderberry flavours from the speciality malts used.

brewlander - freedom beer

For a safe choice, the super crushable Freedom (S$5.80) is light and crisp with a good balanced hop aroma. The unfiltered lager pairs well with just about anything. Otherwise, Joy (S$7) proves to be worthy of its title. With a 4.5% ABV, the session IPA holds citrus notes and is super quaffable — the perfect way to start off the night!
