Cafe Culture 2019 will be featuring 10 cafes from around the world with the best cafe concepts from 29 August – 1 September 2019.

Global baristas, chefs, and owners from famous cafes will gather at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands to showcase their craft.

1Pair signature desserts from Sydney with custom coffee blends from Copenhagen, enjoy a crowd-pleasing breakfast from Bangkok with sparkling tea from Shanghai, or satisfy your sweet tooth with Balinese chocolate pancakes.

The event will have three main themes: Brew, Brunch, and Bakes & Cakes.

Brew features coffee and craft tea trailblazers dedicated to the art of creating the perfect cuppa while Brunch brings together cafes selected from some of the world’s most dynamic cafe scenes offering food like Truffle Alfredo Tagliatelle from ROAST and Pulled Pork Charcoal Rolls from Sisterfields. Bakes & Cakes offer pastries and desserts that have been well-received by the public.

If you’re feeling depresso, enjoy a cup of espresso brewed by skilled baristas from the curated list of cafes.

Roots from Bangkok is part of the cafe line-up at Cafe Culture 2019. From Orange Tonic Cold Brew (S$13-S$15) to Hoppy Citrus Cold Brew (S$13-S$15), Roots believes in creating a coffee journey that would bring people closer.

Another popular cafe participating in the Cafe Culture is Switch Coffee Tokyo. Run and owned by barista Masahiro Onishi, this cafe is known for bringing quality coffee and service to the people in Meguro, where the business first took off.

For S$6S$10, Switch Coffee Tokyo serves a range of Espresso, Long Black, Cappuccino, Latte and Iced Latte amongst other beverages.

Hygge is a Danish word that’s defined as ‘a quality of coziness and friendliness that generates a feeling of contentment’. And this is how Danish coffeehouse Coffee Collective describes itself.

Founded by coffee enthusiasts Peter N. Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen and Klaus Thomsen, Coffee Collective has won gold in both the World Barista Championship and World Cup Tasting championships. Bask in the sweet aroma of their coffee and achievements at Cafe Culture 2019.

This Balinese cafe earned its mark in the heart of Seminyak. Coupled with good food and great coffee, Sisterfields takes pride in serving up a slice of Australian cafe culture in Bali. Have a go at their Smashed Avocado ($16-$21) while you’re there!
