Unlike the regular Tokyo Banana outlets that can be easily found around Japan, Disney Sweets Collection by Tokyo Banana is specifically located at JR Tokyo Station, selling store-exclusive confectioneries which will not be available for sale elsewhere.
Products sold include Mickey Mouse Pancake Sand (¥1,080 – ¥2,160)—fluffy biscuit pancakes that come in two designs, filled with caramel almond and chocolate chip banana milk, as well as Langue De Chat Cookies (from ¥1,080)—delicious banana milkshake chocolate sandwiched between crisp and delicate cat tongue biscuits.
As a Winnie The Pooh lover myself, I was particularly drawn to the Baum Tree (¥896 for a three-pack, ¥1,792 for a six-pack), a four-layered Baumkuchen cake on a stick, designed to mimic Pooh bear’s honey dipper, which comes in three flavours—honey, strawberry and chocolate banana. The Baumkuchen cakes are individually packed with the three main Winner the Pooh characters representing the three different flavours.
At a glance, they really look like mini-corn dogs ready to be devoured!
