Anything that’s in any shade of pink immediately wins me over. There’s no doubt about that from anyone who knows me. It’s also why Flipper’s Singapore‘s new menu additions caught my eye immediately.

Satisfy all your sweet tooth cravings with an order of their Sakura Kiseiki Pancake (S$21.80). Each other comes with five blush-pink, jiggly soufflé pancakes, and is served with homemade mochi and sweet vanilla ice cream. This decadent creation is topped with ruby chocolate cream, preserved Sakura flowers, strawberries, and a dash of strawberry powder. Call me melodramatic, but this dessert sounds like what my wildest dreams are made of. Can I have three plates of sakura pancakes all to myself?

Wash it all down with their Sakura Matcha (price TBA), where delicate flowers top matcha foam on a drink that’s way too pretty to drink. Whether you’re making a trip down because you love all things pink and sugary, or if you just need something to cheer yourself up after a hard day, Flipper’s newest blooming series will be sure to supersede all expectations. Honestly, the pancakes and this drink is a matcha made in heaven.

Sakura season is in full bloom, especially with their Sakura milk (Price TBA), where a delicate sakura rests on light pink milk foam, and a Sakura Soda (Price TBA). One sip of this, a bite of sakura pancakes, and you’ll instantly be reminded of old holidays to Japan spent wandering underneath blooming trees and clear blue skies.

Flipper’s Sakura series will be available from 10 March 2022 onwards.
