At 1am Singapore time on 21 Aug 2025, Google unveiled their latest line of Pixel devices at their annual Made by Google event. This includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a.
The 10th generation of Pixel
Now featuring 3 camera lenses, the Pixel 10 comes with an upgraded body with fresh colours. A flagship feature coming to all Pixel 10 models is Pixelsnap wireless charging compatibility with Qi2 chargers and MagSafe accessories. Yes, even if you are an iPhone user with existing wireless chargers, they will work with the new Pixel 10. New Pixelsnap accessories will also be released alongside these phones.
But the real power of these new Pixels are its improved AI capabilities. Gemini Live allows you to get real-time voice assistance with Gemini. Magic Cue retrieves information across different apps & Google services on the Pixel, bringing up helpful prompts automatically.
Camera Coach gives you specific instructions on how to take a nice photo. A useful feature for guys who struggle to take flattering photos of their girlfriend!
You can also now ask Gemini to edit a photo with simple text prompts like “fix the lighting”.

What makes the Pixel 10 Pro
Apart from having all the features that the Pixel 10 has, the Pixel 10 Pro comes in 2 display sizes with higher resolutions, including a larger 6.8 inch XL variant.
It also has a lens with Pro Res Zoom, which zooms in up to 100x. Great for concert goers and aspiring animal photographers!
Other pro features are Video Boost, which stabilises videos, and Night Sight Video that captures clearer low-light videos.
The phone is also wrapped in a sleek premium metallic finish, and offers higher storage options & RAM.

A free one-year Google AI Pro plan (worth S$347) is included with purchases of any Pixel 10 Pro phones.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold boasts the largest 8-inch display on a smartphone (tied with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 7). It is also the first foldable with IP68 dust & water protection, making it a durable & reliable device.
However, the Pro Fold strangely lacks the 100x Pro Res Zoom and 8K video recording capabilities that the Pixel 10 Pro has.
Those interested can pre-order now from S$2,399, with shipping expected from 9 Oct 2025.
Watch out, a new Pixel Watch
The new Pixel Watch 4 comes in 2 sizes (40mm & 45mm) with an improved display, longer battery life and access to better fitness tools. You can now also raise the watch and talk to Gemini, handsfree. Very useful.
Pre-orders are coming soon, with the watch releasing in November 2025, starting at S$599.
Pixel Buds 2a
An affordable earbuds option. Coming in at S$199, the Pixel Buds 2a is S$150 cheaper than the Pixel Buds Pro 2, which is also getting a refresh this month with a new Moonstone colour.
While more affordable, the Pixel Buds 2a still provides comfort, clear audio and important features like Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. Users can tune out environmental noises or let them pass through when needed. A great companion to Pixel & Gemini.
