From 1 June to 30 September 2017, Green Tea Restaurant 1899 has come up with an all-you-can-drink Matcha Beer Garden to beat the summer heat in Japan!

A total of five matcha alcoholic beverages will be on offer, including matcha beer, matcha stout, hojicha (roasted Japanese green tea), Japanese black tea beer and Japanese black tea stout.

Patrons have the option of choosing from another five non-matcha alcoholic beverages should you wish to switch things up. Available from 5pm – 11pm every day and lasting for two hours each session, the Matcha Beer Garden costs 3,000 yen (approx S$37) if you make a prior reservation, and 3,500 yen (approx S$43) for walk-ins. Definitely make a booking before you head down to get the better deal.

While you’re there, check out the matcha-inspired food offerings as well, such as the matcha cakes, matcha potato salad and even matcha sausages!

Looks like the worldwide matcha craze isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.

Date & Time: 1 June to 30 September 2017, 5pm – 11pm

Expected Damage: S$37 – S$43
