Fresh to the nation, the cashless supermarket marks the first of its kind in Singapore. Built with a fully-automated checkout system, customers can scan and pay for grocery items right at their fingertips.
All you really need is the honestbee app. Enjoy a fuss-free checkout as you place your groceries into a trolley and whizz them through a packing zone.
Then, all you have to do is wait for it to be packed up by the honestbee team and robots will hand the products over to you!
It is app-solutely easy. Given the technological advancement here at habitat, I could see how many may start adopting this innovative system. Although, I reckon the capital cost to digitize labour in more than just one branch will be an impeding factor.
Still, it doesn’t stop at groceries for this all-in-one retail space. Besides touch and sight, habitat by honestbee also engages with the sense of taste through 15 food stalls within the establishment.

habitat by honestbee and their ways of working about technology truly deserves a round of applause. As an East-sider, I would endure the long travel to do my grocery shopping here again. Own time own target couldn’t be more befitting at Habitat.
It intrigues the mind to know that society could well be shifting into a tech-controlled sphere. But for now, as long as it speeds up the chores – sign me up!
