Spice lovers should head straight for the Lobster Salad Bara Chirashi Don (S$15.90). Apart from cubed sashimi topped on a vinegared sushi rice bed, a spoonful of creamy lobster salad completes the dish. Do note that a liberal dusting of red chilli pepper is also used.
I loved the freshness and size of seafood chunks that were used, especially the plump baby scallops. A generous amount of lobster flesh was added to the salad and added a pleasant bite to the rice bowl.
For those looking for a heavier seasoning, the Salmon Oyako Tartar Don (S$15.90) may entice you. Salmon sashimi slices and a dollop of salmon roe sits neatly atop fluffy sushi rice.
The latter elevates the flavours from the heap of truffle-infused tartar sauce. Coupled with the runny egg yolk, this dish is not for the faint-hearted as its creaminess can get overwhelming.
My personal favourite is the refreshing Mazeudon (S$10.90). Paired with roasted pork, crab meat and corn bits, I can foresee this dish becoming a popular option for a quick lunch.

The maze dressing sauce lightly seasons the perfect QQ udon noodles while its accompanying components introduce saltiness and textures.
Mentaiko lovers should not miss the Ebi Fry Aburi Mentai Bara Chirashi Don (S$14.90). Deep-fried to golden brown perfection, the large prawn fry was lightly battered and super crunchy. Mentaiko sauce is drizzled across the rice bowl and torched. The result is a smoky flavour and melt-in-your-mouth broiled seafood.
Cut through the slightly jelak cream sauce with Dydo Melon Shake (S$3.90) or Sangaria Ramune Soda (S$2.90); the latter tastes like a super fizzy ice cream soda.
The last dish I had was their signature Shirobuta Pork Katsu Hokkaido White Curry Rice (S$13.90). A large strip of deep fried Japanese pork cutlet was served with a blanket of white curry gravy. I appreciated that the gravy was not overly sweet and enjoyed dipping the tender cutlet into the thick curry.
To celebrate this new launch, the brand will be holding a month-long 50% off promotion on selected items from the new menu. Do note that the promotion is only valid for dine-in and limited to 50 redemptions daily. The details are as follows:

Ending off the meal with desserts, I enjoyed the Chocolate Monaka (S$3.90) which sees a thick block of decadent chocolate ice cream sandwiched between two wafers. The Hokkaido Milk Monaka (S$3.90) is an option for non-lovers of cocoa.
