Popular Michelin Guide zi char restaurant, Keng Eng Kee Seafood, has announced the launch of its 3rd outlet in SAFRA Punggol. This eatery has served delicious moonlight hor fun for over 50 years at its iconic outlet at 124 Bukit Merah Lane 1 near Alexandra Village Hawker Centre.
The new Keng Eng Kee outlet boasts a seating capacity for 160 guests. Diners have the unique experience of enjoying their meals outdoors, with views that include an Electric Road Pricing (ERP) gantry, a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, and a nostalgic 1980s bus stop. Other notable features include vibrant murals depicting Peranakan shophouses and a nostalgic playground sure to evoke cherished memories.
The interior design captures the essence of Singapore’s evolving landscape over the years, complemented by dishes exclusive to this particular outlet.
Adding a unique touch, the outlet is introducing exclusive dishes like the Grilled Assorted Seafood with KEK Homemade Sauce which takes centre stage. This dish combines succulent tiger prawns, clams, mushrooms, and vermicelli, harmoniously united by KEK Seafood’s signature sauce
For those seeking unique flavours, try the Otah Charcoal Fried Dough Fritters. Another must-try is the Cereal Hei Bee Hiam Fried Ice Cream.
Just like Keng Eng Kee’s other locations, patrons can savour the Traditional Signature Moonlight Hor Fun (S$10.80 for small, S$17.80 for medium, S$22.80 for large). Alternatively, there’s the Beef Signature Moonlight Hor Fun (S$11.80 for small, S$18.80 for medium, S$23.80 for large).
For a richer taste, consider ordering the Coffee Pork Ribs (S$19.80 for small, S$28.80 for medium, S$36.80 for large). Additionally, the Signature Chilli Crab is available at market-driven prices.
