One of the most established Sapporo ramen speciality restaurants in Singapore, Miharu Sapporo Ramen is having a Ramen Giveaway this March 2018.
If you can solve this simple quiz game, you stand to win dining vouchers. Here’s the best part — we’re giving you all the clues!

All you have to do is correctly identify these three Miharu Sapporo ramen dishes from the banner and the giveaways are yours! With ten $25 vouchers up for grabs, what are you waiting for?

If you want the ramen but can’t master the quiz, don’t worry. With Miharu Sapporo’s permission, I managed to go down and conduct a quick taste test to help you secure these ramen freebies. Of course, I can’t make the clues too obvious. It’s time for you to take out your detective hat!
Ramen A should be a no-brainer. From the bright red broth, you know you’re in for something tongue-burning. Perhaps this flavour profile will help you narrow it down.
When I tried it, the soup was actually a little thicker and had some shredded onions that added a distinct and refreshing spice to the dish. Diners will also be glad to know that the broth was not chilli-spicy but just enough to tantalise the taste buds.
While Ramen B may seem a little hard to identify, it’s actually easier once you taste it. Compared to the other miso-based ramen dishes on the menu, Ramen B had a heavier onion-miso broth that was packed with strong umami flavour. I also really loved the crisp seaweed tucked away in the corner of the bowl.
Perhaps my favourite of the three, Ramen C is one of the star choices on the menu. In this bowl, all the individual ingredients — from the buttered sweetcorn to the al-dente Nishiyama noodles flown in from Hokkaido — were able to shine through.
Flavourful yet light, the rich pork broth also had a subtle nutty aroma that was really delightful. It also had only one delicious ajitsuke tamago (seasoned egg) with a golden yolk that was just slightly runny. Oishii desu ne! (Isn’t it delicious?)
And let’s not forget about the gorgeous chashu meat! The chashu was really fatty and cooked to a nice tenderness where it’s just about to fall apart. With a good balance of sweet and salty, rejoice as this sinful piece of meat comes with all three ramen bowls.
Got it yet, Sherlocks? I hope you managed to pick up on the clues. While I can’t tell you the identities of the ramen I can confirm one thing after trying the ramen. These ramen vouchers are definitely worth fighting for!
With ramen veteran, Mr Abe Kinya at the helm, come win ramen treats authentic enough to even make Japanese expats come back for more.
Don’t worry as there’s still time to get the giveaways before it ends on 31 March 2018. Quick, head over to their Facebook post and earn yourself some free, mouth-watering ramen!
