Smoked lamb on pizza? Absolutely. Hot honey with beef pepperoni? Why not? Mokky’s Pizza & Coffee likes to have a little fun with its toppings, and it’s bringing that same spirit to Johor Bahru with its first JB outlet, slated to open in December 2026.
Already established in the Klang Valley, Mokky’s serves thin-crust pizzas with toppings that go beyond the usual pepperoni and cheese. Take the Golden Butter Chicken, which pairs baked chicken and mozzarella with a buttery chicken sauce, bird’s eye chilli and curry leaves.
For something a little more indulgent, Smoked Lamb comes topped with 24-hour smoked pulled lamb, caramelised onions and BBQ sauce, while Duck-Ah! combines smoked duck with rocket leaves, pecorino Romano and hot honey.
There’s also Holy Honey Pep!, which gives beef pepperoni a sweet-and-spicy upgrade with hot honey, pecorino and fresh basil. Prefer to keep things simple? The NY Cheese and Beef Pepperoni are classic options that let the pizza do the talking.
Of course, pizza isn’t the only reason to linger. The menu also features Buff Wings, mozzarella sticks and truffle fries for sharing, alongside a range of pasta dishes. These include Salty Chick, made with fettuccine, salted egg sauce and crispy chicken, as well as Beef Bolognese for those craving a familiar comfort-food fix.
The cafe menu is worth a look, too. Think fluffy pancakes served with butter and syrup, or Snow Pancakes topped with Nutella and vanilla ice cream when dessert calls.
Coffee, matcha drinks, milkshakes and sweet treats such as banana pudding round out the selection, while a dedicated kids’ menu makes the restaurant an option for family outings.
While Mokky’s is expected to open its doors in JB this Dec, details of its location are still pending — so watch this space for updates.
