After Dolly Dim Sum closed its doors at Avenue K, a new halal dim sum establishment has emerged— Peony by Canton Boy. This time, they have decided to bring their 4th outlet to the CBD district.

Inaugurated in January 2024, Peony by Canton Boy offers mouthwatering halal dim sum and Chinese cuisine in a minimalist retro setting that invites patrons to embark on a culinary adventure.

Here are some signature dim sum delicacies you shouldn’t miss out on. Indulge in the Shang Hai Xiao Long Bao (RM11.80) that features a succulent and flavourful minced chicken filling, delicately encased in a thin dumpling skin. Each dumpling is meticulously prepared to envelop a savoury broth that bursts with each bite.

It is a culinary masterpiece blending traditional flavour with a luxurious twist. Every mouthful of siu mai is elevated by the earthy fragrance of black truffles. There’s even a hidden quail egg in it!

In addition to dim sum, the menu also offers a variety of Chinese delicacies such as Hainanese Steamed Chicken Rice (RM18.80), Australian Mud Crab (RM28/100g), Claypot Three Cup Chicken (RM55), Mapo Tofu (RM38), and other delectable options.
