Calling all pet owners and plant lovers. There is a special event coming up this weekend just for you! From 17 to 19 Jan, the Pets & Plants Extravaganza will be at Suntec Halls 401 and 402. Enter a fun space for members of 2 distinct communities to come together and bond over their shared interests.

The Pets & Plants Extravaganza, PPE for short, will be hosting various pet and plant talks, workshops, activities and retail booths. Experts will share tips and tricks on how to keep your beloved companions alive and thriving.

Budding and seasoned plant owners can attend meet-and-greets with local and international growers. Some of them hail all the way from Ecuador and Taiwan, ready to share their tricks of the trade with like-minded individuals.

Furthermore, there are many workshops available for them to enjoy. One of the stand-outs is the Mini Bonsai “Prune & Shape” workshop. It is a beginner-friendly hands-on experience where you will learn to create a beautiful display with a pre-bonsai plant.

Instructors will teach basic crafting techniques, different bonsai plant styles and the necessary tools to create a bonsai display of your own. You will end the session with a deeper understanding and appreciation for tedious plant maintenance.

Dog owners, you might want to try out RICO’s Dog Fitness Trial. The widely beloved programme, named after Japanese founder Ms Rico Yamada, will take your dogs through a series of activities to improve their physical fitness. It will help dog owners learn the needs of their pets and seek out better ways to encourage healthy movement.

Finally, TADA, Pets & Plants Extravaganza’s official ride-hailing partner, has a special offer for attendees.

Using promo code “PPETADA25“, visitors of PPE will receive S$5 off TADA rides for days of the event. For those bringing their pets along, select TADA Pets (Carrier) or TADA Pets (Leashed) upon booking.
