As we are drawing closer to the holy month of Ramadan 2025, our Muslim friends around us embark on an entire month devoted to fasting, prayer, reflection, and uniting with family and friends.

With Singapore being a foodies’ paradise, deciding on where to swing by for Iftar isn’t an easy task (a good problem, though). Well, don’t get in a fluster! I’ve curated a list of 11 best dining spots and deliveries in Singapore for Iftar — start planning your schedules with your loved ones!

1. Sabar Menanti

Ramadan 2025 - Sabar Menanti

Sabar Menanti is a heritage nasi padang spot along 719 North Bridge Road that began as a low-key street stall in the 1920s, before transitioning to a proper business in the 1960s.

For Ramadan 2025, the owner, Mr Iszahar, is launching a Signature Iftar Tingkat (S$70 for 4 pax), available for takeaway only. This set has 2 pieces of beef rendang, 2 pieces of ayam opor and bergedil, 4 portions of sayur lodeh, and 2 portions of oxtail soup. Drinks are also included: 2 glasses of bandung and lime juice each.

If you opt for a self-collection, the Signature Iftar Tingkat will only cost you S$60.

On the other hand, you can dine in and discover more than 30 varieties of Muslim favourites at the counter. Customise your own nasi padang masterpiece with offerings like tahu telur, curry chicken, sambal goreng, pucuk ubi, and many more.

2. Pistachio Middle Eastern & Mediterranean Grill

ramadan 2025 - pistachio front

Swing by level 2 of Wheelock Place and step inside Pistachio Middle Eastern & Mediterranean Grill, where Chef Khaled Elelimi invites you to discover Arabian cuisine. He offers Middle Eastern and Mediterranean delights that are good for one’s health, drawing on his knowledge of Ayurveda, in which he dedicated 3 years of training.

ramadan 2025 - pita bread & dips

Over here, everything from the dips to the sauces are made entirely from scratch, and only premium ingredients are used. Start your Iftar strong with the Pita Bread (S$6++), utilising a new, 6-month-old recipe that replaces bread flour with cake flour and ferments for 48 hours. What you get is a bread that has its glycemic index lowered by 70%! Prepared only upon order, it spends just 20 seconds in a 400-degree oven, before it gets freshly delivered to your table.

Tear apart the flaky, fluffy bread, and dunk it into a smoked Baba Ghannoush (S$8++), Hummus (S$8++), or our favourite Mohamarra (S$12++) — a tangy and lightly-spiced walnut dip with red peppers.

ramadan 2025 - pistachio front

Grab 2 or 3 friends and sink your teeth into the 200-Day Grain-Fed Angus Beef Rib (S$85++), a massive cut that has been slow-roasted for a good 3.5 hours. It’s paired with Arabic briyani rice that’s made using a 3-year-old aged Himalayan basmati grain. Coated with a smoky, subtly sweet glace, the meat is a carnivore’s dream — one bite, and your taste buds will throw a victory parade.

ramadan 2025 - sultan delight

Also not to be missed is the Sultan’s Delight (S$42++). It’s a heritage Ottoman dish featuring tender lamb cooked with fresh tomatoes and thyme in a robust stew, served atop a bed of smoky eggplant purée with cheese. This was so rich yet light at the same time. To finish it off, it is accented with a sprinkling of pine nuts and house-made chilli flakes.

Lamb & mixed grill

Requiring a 1-day pre-order,  the Whole Lamb Shoulder (S$148 for 4 pax) is a colossal piece of meat so grand, it could star in its own action movie. It rests snugly on a bed of Arabic briyani rice. Chef Khaled deboned it for us tableside so effortlessly that, even before tasting, you could tell the meat was incredibly tender (and it was!).

Lamb is often known for its gamey taste, but I couldn’t detect any of it. Slathering the meat in the pale yellow sauce by the side elevated the experience — adding a minty, tangy punch of flavour.

If you’re looking for variety, the Pistachio Mix Grill (S$52 for 2 pax) has beef and chicken kebabs, as well as lamb chops, served alongside some saffron rice and salad.

Are you a sucker for good deals? We have one for you! Simply show the restaurant this food guide, and you’ll be eligible for a FREE dessert (dine-in only).

ramadan 2025 - BG Makan Chilli Crab Pasta

I chose Chilli Crab sauce for the Chicken Chop Happiness Bowl with aglio olio spaghetti. Infused with fragrant spices, the gravy was well balanced, had a shiok amount of spice, and not overly sweet. Hands down, I’d gladly recommend this to anyone!
