Communal eating is best exemplified by the likes of hotpots and barbecues. It’s celebratory food at its finest and most engaging, where diners indulge in a shoulder-to-shoulder affair of grilling, dipping, and of course, eating. Shine Chill & Grill is a proud purveyor of all that, where feisty hotplates and boiling broths sit centre stage on your tables.

Located in the heart of Outram in Raeburn Park, this eatery puts forth a flurry of hotpot favourites to whet our appetites. But it doesn’t stop there, because there’s a BBQ option where you can cook up a grill-fest of seafood, meat, and mushrooms to share with friends and family alike. Here’s the best part—it’s all free-flow. That’s right, you can stuff yourself silly with a plethora of dishes, ensuring that you’ll never leave hungry at Shine Chill & Grill.

Soup lovers would find themselves right at home, as they can choose between a fish head steamboat and a chicken broth as the base for their hotpot buffet.

As for the pricing, the BBQ Buffet and Fishhead Steamboat starts from S$29.90 onwards. As for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, the price goes up to S$32.90 per pax. However, children get to dine at a special flat rate of S$19.90. Bring your family down for an unforgettable night of indulgence.

If you’re interested in the different ingredients which are available, here’s a list. Expect classics like pork collar, prawns, crayfish, mussels, cheese tofu, and crabstick. There are also fun options like the mala marinated chicken for a fiery kick to your meal. I reckon that this one would be perfect for grilling and paired with a bowl of white rice.

Eating is not all there is to do at Shine Chill & Grill. Those looking to get their drink on can also top-up S$10 for free-flow beer. This one’s a recipe for a sinful night of non-stop munching and drinking. If you’re thinking of new spots to hang out and dine in, this is the perfect option.
