Starbucks Singapore is about to get a whole lot dreamier and creamier! From 23 February 2022, Starbucks expands its menu with new Cloud Macchiato beverages to usher in Spring. They’re also bringing back an old favourite— the Salted Caramel Cloud Macchiato (S$7.80 for tall); an irresistibly luscious and ethereal drink.

The new inclusions? Cocoa Cloud Macchiato (S$7.80 for tall) and Salted Caramel Frappuccino (S$8.20 for tall). Sound blissful enough? Rounding up this divine collection is the classic mainstay, Caramel Macchiato (S$7.20-7.40 for tall). You get the option of having your beverage served hot or iced (something not new to Starbucks).

Aside from the Salted Caramel Cloud Macchiato, Starbucks has also announced the return of the Triple Treat Mushroom Pie! Gratifying for both the eyes and tummy (and ‘gram), the balanced blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan will bring big smiles to cheese lovers.

To get your sugar fix, order the new Lychee Rose Cake Popsicle or Green Tea Raspberry Cake. Those watching their sugar intake can opt for the less sweet Blueberry Yogurt Cheesecake.

lychee rose cake

No surprise here… I tried the Lychee Rose Cake Popsicle (hello, sugar!) on the launch date (23 February) at the outlet in City Square Mall. This is an indulgent dessert that presents itself in layers of sponge cake, and rose & lychee-flavoured jelly-like cream. I must admit the taste of lychee was too pronounced for my liking. The cake-y bit was delicious though!

Being a fan of the frappe, I went for the Salted Caramel Frappuccino. The caramel was intense, but the sweetness, subtle. The chippy ice offered the perfect crunch texture for the coffee, so if that’s your thing, I vouch for this.

Starbucks (very well-known and loved) for its gorgeous merchandise, now drops an array worth a glance, and perhaps even a purchase. The Cherry Blossom Collection features charming drinkware, Starbucks cards, umbrellas, and carriers. They come in sweet shades of baby pink, pastel purple and metallic gold— all in the patterns of the cherry blossoms in bloom. How pretty (and hard to resist)!
