Bookworms rejoice, especially if you reside in the north! Frasers Centrepoint Trust has partnered up with the National Library & Archives Board (NLB) to open The HomePage @ Causeway Point. Labelled as “Singapore’s first-of-its-kind” in a media release by Frasers Property, the hub is slated to open in 2028 as a brand-new reading and social destination. Spanning over 32,000 sq ft across parts of the mall’s sixth and seventh floors, the space will bring together books, community activities and family-friendly experiences.

The name and design of The HomePage @ Causeway Point are inspired by the concept of home. Just as a home offers comfort, the hub will welcome visitors into a warm and inviting space. The design draws inspiration from familiar parts of Singapore’s architectural history, including the iconic Teck Whye HDB estates, the former NLB library at Stamford Road and the geometric forms of Brutalist architecture in the 1970s.

One of Singapore’s largest publicly accessible assemblages of pre-loved books from NLB will also be available here for browsing. The collection of books includes both English and Mother Tongue languages. Look through the pre-loved books and bring them home without having to borrow them! There’s no return-by date; instead, we are encouraged to pass on the books to others to share the joy of reading.

#Supportlocal; there will also be a dedicated showcase of Singapore Literature (Sing Lit) and local authors. NLB will curate the space alongside the National Arts Council. Through their wide variety of Sing Lit titles, thematic exhibitions and programmes, you can look forward to celebrating Singapore’s literary heritage.

Beyond the books, it will also serve as a social hub for all ages. You’ll be able to enjoy food and beverages while relaxing with a book. The space also includes family-friendly amenities such as children’s play zones, an indoor theatre and a screening space. One key feature of The HomePage is The Social Steps, a multi-purpose terraced public living room where visitors can gather, unwind or participate in community activities.
