With the June school holidays over, some of us will be eager to return to work (and school), while others may be looking forward to what the month holds — are you wondering what to do in Jul 2025? From music festivals to new attractions, July is filled with fun activities.

Check out our list of what to do in July 2025 for a month of festivities and celebrations.
1. Jazz in July (1 – 31 Jul)

Going on to its 18th edition, Jazz in July is Singapore’s longest-running annual jazz event. Unlike international jazz festivals that rely on the star power of an international lineup, Jazz in July began as and remains an event that is focused on the jazz community in Singapore.
For all 31 days of July, the festival brings jazz lovers back home to the Esplanade. To spread this love for the music to a wider audience, most of the festival is free, centred around the Concourse and DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre venues. Each day, they feature at least 1 show from a different jazz group. This gives audiences a range of styles to enjoy.
For rookie listeners, we recommend their vocal jazz features on Mondays and Date Night Fridays. On these days, audiences will be serenaded with songs of love and romance. On Sundays, soak in the brassy, upbeat sounds of Singapore’s big jazz bands at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre. There will also be free swing dance lessons for beginners.

Inspired by an orchid from the National Orchid Garden, this unique scent was crafted to capture the nation’s essence and mark key national milestones in celebration of SG60.

It is open in Singapore at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, from 7 Jun to 31 Aug. The exhibition offers a large-scale, immersive experience with over 17 installations where visitors can interact with the art.

One of the works that evokes the magic of early childhood discoveries is Spiritus Sonata, which provokes surprise and tenderness. 9. Summer Garden Afternoon Tea at St. Regis Singapore

St. Regis Singapore just launched The Tea Room and Patisserie – a gorgeous new spot in the lobby! It’s got total modern summer garden vibes, perfect for cosy chats or a relaxing brew. They’ve even given their famous afternoon tea a fresh, sophisticated twist. The design brings the outside in with lush colours and gold accents, making it a chic yet comfy escape for intimate gatherings or quiet moments.

Are you ready for the new Summer Garden Afternoon Tea? It kicks off with sparkling tea (or coffee/tea brewed right at your table). Then, dive into a beautiful 3-tiered stand loaded with fancy savouries and sweets, plus unlimited (yes, you heard me right) fresh scones with your choice of jams and clotted cream. Hands down, our favourite! We especially loved the fruit caviar atop clotted cream it was served with, which gave a surprising burst of juicy citrus.

The menu totally matches the garden theme, with summery flavours like foie gras with raspberry caviar, tea-cured salmon, and goat cheese tarts. For sweets, think jasmine citrus, pistachio cake with strawberry, and tropical tarts, finishing with a vanilla macaron and zesty lime praline. Prices start at S$65++ with sparkling tea, or S$95++ if you want to add some Ruinart Brut Champagne!
For reservations and enquiries, call +65 6506 6860, email [email protected] or visit The Tea Room website here.

15. Chinese Opera Festival (21 Jun – 26 Jul)

Wondering what else to do in Jul 2025? From 21 Jun to 26 Jul, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and the National Arts Council (NAC) will present the inaugural Chinese Opera Festival, celebrating one of Singapore’s traditional performing arts forms.
The festival will feature 5 Chinese opera troupes, each representing a dialect. They are: the Chinese Opera Studio (Teochew), the Chinese Opera Ensemble (Hainanese), OperaWorks (Cantonese), the Tian Yun Beijing Opera Society (Peking) and the Tang Renaissance (Yue).
The Peacocks Flying Southeast is an opera hailed as the “Romeo and Juliet” of Chinese opera. Adapted from the Han Dynasty poem《古诗为焦仲卿妻作》, it tells the love story of Liu Lanzhi and Jiao Zhongqing. Forced apart by Zhongqing’s mother and Lanzhi’s brother, the lovers are driven to death. This makes their tale a symbol of defiance against tradition.

TRIFECTA Singapore, Asia’s first surf-snow-skate destination, has unveiled the Riders’ Lounge — a new hideout in the heart of Orchard, built on the belief that the ride doesn’t end when the board comes off. Featuring rare vinyl grooves spun on JBL’s warm analogue sound and a Leica gallery, every detail has been designed to celebrate the spirit of the ride.
Helmed by homegrown bakery bar Yeast Side, the Riders’ Lounge all-day menu is an ode to slopeside ease and post-ride tradition: warm, filling and made to share with good company.

Freshly-baked sourdough pizzas take centre stage here — from classics such as Queen Margherita (S$18) and Hold My Salami (S$23), to bold crowd-pleasers such as the Foursome with Honey (S$21), which is topped with ricotta, gorgonzola, parmesan and mozzarella and finished with a sweet-savoury drizzle of honey. The lunch lineup extends to house-made focaccia sandwiches, ranging from lighter options to full-blown indulgence.
