Unlike the famous old-world wines from Bordeaux and Piemonte, the wines from Portugal’s Alentejo are not often talked about in Singapore.

On 5 July 2017, transform into a wine connoisseur at La Terre’s Portugal Wine Party. Having won Best Sommelier of the Year 2013 and 2017 in Singapore World Gourmet Series Awards of Excellence, you will be getting recommendations from La Terre’s sommelier, Mr Kawai.

The admission for the event is free and the wines are affordably priced at $10 nett per glass — this is a priced opportunity to try the underrated Portuguese wines and brush up on some wine-related terms to impress your friends.

Apart from that, you will also get to meet like-minded folks that appreciate wines as much as you do. I am not sure about you but this totally sounds like something right up my alley.

Date & Time: 5 July 2017, 6pm – 9pm

Expected Damage: $10 nett per glass
