There is always a new (food) kid on the block in sunny Singapore, and November 2017 sees the doors of Kimme welcoming hungry fans of Chef Sun Kim‘s creations.

The decorated chef currently helms the kitchen in one-Michelin-starred Meta, and actually named the new establishment after his own nickname.

It’ll be interesting to see how the place fares, especially when it’s set up along what seems like a distinction drive, with popular spots like Ding Dong, Zott’s and Maggie Joan’s already calling Amoy Street home.

The place will occupy a three-storey shophouse, with a 14-seater communal table on the first floor, a bar on the second and a private dining space right on top.

What can diners expect in terms of food, though? Appealing plates inspired by flavours and techniques from all around East Asia, coupled with Western twists, while the drinks list will feature a fine selection of cocktails, wines and sakes.

Come 24 November 2017, be ready to add Kimme to your list of must-eat seats to chope.

Expected damage: $10 – $45

Kimme: 47 Amoy Street, Singapore 069873
