Sigh. It’s never pleasant to hear restaurants closing down. For some, it’s an endless cycle of regrets as you begin to despise yourself for taking it for granted when they were around.
Sadly, Swensen’s at ION Orchard has announced its closure. This means, from now till 31 December 2018, this will be your only chance left to indulge in the ice cream buffet, which offers unlimited scoops of exclusive ice cream flavours.
While the rest of their outlets still offer an array of more than 20 flavours, it could still never replace the ice cream bar at Swensen’s ION Orchard.
With more than 50 flavours, such as Salted Gula Melaka and Durian Supreme, the experience of being spoilt for choice will definitely be missed.
Rocket into the season of giving with one last round of Swensen’s ice cream buffet at ION Orchard. I’m sure a few more scoops of ice cream won’t do much damage, just throw away those diet plans for now — they can wait till the New Year’s here for resolution setting. Wink.
