There is no greater joy than slurping down a piping bowl of ramen. Whenever those pesky ramen cravings arise, NISSIN RAMEN is here for all your ramen needs.

Presenting NISSIN RAMEN brand new flavours, Kyushu Black and Tokyo Shoyu ramen bowls. Besides being the first in the world to invent instant noodles, NISSIN RAMEN also prides themselves on their Japanese craftsmanship, where they are constantly committed to improving the taste and the quality of their products.
If you are a ramen fanatic, you’re in for a treat.

First up, the Kyushu Black for garlic lovers. This scrumptious bowl boasts a creamy, lip-smacking broth, drizzled with fragrant black garlic oil.
The Kyushu Black will be your go-to when you hit the grocery store.

The broth for the Kyushu Black was quite heavy on the palate. The garlic flavour was prominent in each spoonful but not overpowering, which I appreciated.

The ramen noodles were certainly reminiscent of those found in ramen restaurants but at a much more affordable price tag. That spells good news for your wallet.

Next, the Tokyo Shoyu ramen bowl. Tokyo Shoyu features a flavourful bonito broth complete with leek slices, fish cake and tasty egg morsels.

When it comes to ramen, it all boils down to the broth. I was quite impressed by Tokyo Shoyu‘s broth, it was definitely much richer and robust than I expected. Each slurp was satisfying and you get a little umami from the savoury bonito base.

When you dig into this bowl, you’ll notice that the noodles are a little thicker and chewier, just the way I like it. The noodles were a good texture, which points to Nissin’s expertise when it comes to Japanese food.
Whether you are cramming for exams or need a pick-me-up on rainy days, these new NISSIN RAMEN bowls are undoubtedly the ones I would gravitate towards.
