Some may say salted egg dishes are overrated but it will always be one of Singaporean’s favourite trends.
In celebration of Singapore’s National Day, Texas Chicken will be introducing their very own REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken from now till 21 August 2019.
A blend of spices is used in the salted egg crumbs and salted egg sauce to give it a bit of kick without overpowering the chicken. It is also suitable for people who have a lower tolerance for spice.
A variety of REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken meal choices are available during this period across all Texas Chicken restaurants islandwide.
The Combo Meal (S$10.80) comes with two pieces of REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken, one Mashed Potato, one Honey Butter Biscuit and one Regular Sjora Mango Peach.
The juicy and tender chicken meat is encased in a crunchy outer layer that’s generously coated with actual salted egg sauce and sprinkled with salted egg crumbs.
If you’re looking to share your meal with a friend, we recommend the REAL Feast Box (S$17.50). This meal includes six pieces of Tenders, eight pieces of Nuggets, and a serving of REAL Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken.
If you’re in a bigger group, you can also opt for the Bundle Meal (S$50.90), which consists of eight pieces of REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken, two servings of REAL Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken, four pieces of Honey Butter Biscuit, two Large Mashed Potatoes, and four Regular Sjora Mango Peach.
For a quick bite, their a la carte menu offers a single piece of the REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken (S$3.80) or one serving of REAL Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken (S$5.50).
