The Geylang bazaar drove a lot of hype and interest from the masses to drop by for a taste of their innovative new offerings. Coming soon, dedicated fans of these stalls can finally prepare to have that same familiar tasting goodness at Grandbite @ Grandstand, Old Turf Club.
Marketed as a mini carnival that combines live music, great food with fun and games for the whole family; the event is set to last from 1 to 4 August 2019. The festivities will include a return of several beloved stalls from the previous iteration of the Geylang bazaar.
We’re most excited for the big names like Broti and Beef Bro to return, serving up refreshing mega-sized drinks and Taiwanese street food-inspired favourites such as Mala Flame-Grilled Beef Cubes (S$14.90)!
The event will also feature other established halal brands in Singapore which will offer up signature crowd favourite menu items. The Outslider from Yishun Park Hawker Centre will be making an appearance on all four days, cooking up their much loved Smoked Mantou Sliders (S$7.90-S$9.90) for the event!
Another notable name to show up will include the famously raved about Haig Rd Putu Piring! The Michelin plate-awarded entry will be the star of this delicious lineup of great-tasting halal food!
The biggest halal food event of the year is here! A full enjoyable day of festivities awaits the family for a fun day out during the weekend. Make a stop to savour your favourite street foods before it is gone again!
