We’ve seen all kinds of dessert creations which use bubble tea pearls in unconventional methods. From boba pancakes to tarts and croissants, there seems to be a never-ending possibility of combinations.
Now, you can even DIY your own Bubble Earl Grey Cake at all FamilyMart outlets in Malaysia.
To celebrate their third anniversary, FamilyMart Malaysia has launched an Earl Grey-flavoured sponge cake (RM5.90), with the option to add on brown sugar bubble toppings (RM2).
For their outlets at KLIA2 and Resort World Genting though, the cake will cost RM7.10, and RM2.40 for the bubble toppings.
If you’re expecting a full-on DIY experience, you might be disappointed.
The cake is already ready for purchase, so you just have to add on brown sugar bubble toppings at the cashier, which you can then pour onto the cake yourself.
We have to say though, the cake looks pretty good in real life.
Anything that’s boba– or brown sugar-related always sells out fast, so if you want a piece, make sure to hurry!
